r377ParticipantOver the next 5 years which player do you think will miss the most games due to injury ?
To be fair, lets have a current 29yo age cut off so guys like Wade, Noah, Pek, Deng, CP3, Devin Harris etc don’t count….
The nominations are:
Anthony Davis
Steph Curry
Nerlens Noel
Embiid
Kevin Love
Myles Turner
Wilson Chandler
Derrick Rose
Rubio
Terrence Jones
Russell Westbrook (has missed games last few seasons, plays hard and big mins)
Nikola Vucevic
Gallinari
Bledsoe
Chandler Parsons
Nic Batum
Brad Beal
Jrue Holiday
Eric Gordon
Kawhi Leonard
Tyreke Evans
Alex LenAnyone else I missed ?

BiggysmallsParticipantI love that Myles Turner is on that list
Not from any sort of "I hate Myles Turner so I want to see him suffer" angle, just that he’s a 20-year-old rookie who has been getting NBA paychecks for like 6 months (or would it be just 3 months?)

Hype MachineI’ll consider your question as ‘an injury waiting to happen’.
I’ll go with Derrick Rose.
Got absolutely no faith in those legs. Too explosive for his own good.

HitsterParticipantI’ve always had a lot of time for Brandan Wright and his potential but his career seems to be forever dogged by injuries. But fair play to him he’s remained in the NBA for 9 seasons and is on a good contract.

YungmUNyParticipantI don’t know how I overlooked all of his career injuries. He really hasn’t had many seasons where he even played in 3/4 of the games. Was he hurt all of those seasons that he only played 30-40 something games early in his career though? I’d assume some of that was just attributable to just not being good/developed enough to crack the rotation for actual games.

daggers818ParticipantBargnani just turned 30 in October. He would’ve been my #1 choice. Rose and Eric Gordon are fine choices though.

Dazzling Dunks and Basketball BloopersParticipantSadly. I kind of doubt we’ll ever see a full season from embiid. I hope I’m wrong.

daggers818ParticipantYou could be right, though like you, I hope you are not as he’s one of those players I’m really excited to see reach his potential.

Meditated StatesParticipantNot the 2nd coming of nothing either. At least he is coming off the bench like he belongs.

CynthiaParticipantIt’s kind of funny, not long ago Steph Curry was considered very injury prone, he missed a ton of time, and now he’s the best player in the league.
Since Curry seems to have miraculously stopped getting injured I will say Kyrie irving is the most injury prone.

r377ParticipantI knew I had forgotten some players. Kyrie and Broken Lopez definitely deserve a mention on this list.
Brandan Wright was a good choice and under the radar – I didn’t know he was that bad. Over 8 seasons he has played 360 games, making an average of just 45 games per season or just 55% of games played….

OhCanada-ParticipantMy vote would be for Anthony Davis. Dude is frail. Watching him play is like watching a glass fall from a cabinet you know its gonna break but your never really prepared for the smash.
