Tiger1313ParticipantDoes anyone have someone that they just love to watch? Don’t have to be amazing just was a very exciting player to watch..if so describe them and give highlights if possible! High school and above..
Mine was Jon Scheyer, in high school he was unstoppable and literally did it all. Every game you could expect something great from him..his all time best performance which I never caught unfortunately is this at the Proviso West Holiday tournament..

HaleParticipantWhen he was hot Salim Stoudemire in college was so fun to watch. He was a chucker, but damn he hit so many 3’s from eternity away.

aamir543ParticipantFor me it’s Dirk, especially last season’s playoffs, evey game I was excited to see what he had in store for us. I was mesmerized by his array of complicated fadeaways that no one else in the world can replicate.
And Reggie Evans as well, each game in the playoffs I couldn’t wait to see the variety of cheap shots and blows he’d give when the refs weren’t looking, an artist at his finest.

TomShoeParticipantI just love to see Manu Ginobli when he gets off the bench.
His style is just so unorthodox and exciting to watch, especially since now he’s coming off the bench against tired starters or bench players. That ball fake he did on Durant in the WCF made me jump out of my seat.

UNCbasketballbumParticipantJuan Dixon. Was not highly rated coming out of Baltimore at all. Didn’t play much his freshman year, got more time his sophomore year, then was an all-american his junior and senior year. Juan was a lockdown defender, lightning quick, and a great three-point shooter and tough as nails competitor. His parents were killed when he was little and he had to overcome a lot to achieve what he did at Maryland, including a national championship. His game didn’t translate to the NBA, but he was a great college player and one of my favorite college players of all time.

Kemba Walker at UCONN his Jr year.
Jay Williams at Duke any year.
JJ Redick at Duke when he got hot.

joshinator1ParticipantVince Carter this guy used to exploded during his younger days every dunk was a highlight for him

And since I am a Warriors fan Monta Ellis, the warriors in the past couple years were built for entertainment rather than winning, he was great at it especially before his mo-ped injury

DipoTimeParticipantI LOVED watching Sean Singletary at Virginia. I’m not a Virginia fan or even an ACC fan but dang he was so tough and passionate about the game. I just wish he could have stuck with a team in the NBA

BasterdInABasketParticipantWade at Marquette. I was only in middle school at the time but he made me a lifetime Marquette fan. It used to be only all Wisconsin up til then. His performances and the triple double leading up to that Final Four were incredible. I still remember sitting at school pulling my hair out seeing Marquette almost lose in the first round to Holy Cross.
Salim was another one I loved to watch too. Had such quick and smooth stroke. Even got his customized Hawks jersey too lol. Redick at Duke, Emeka-Gordon at UConn were a couple other must-watch players and it’s alwasy been Lebron in the NBA for me.

NCarmean18ParticipantCollege picks:
Jimmer Fredette – Senior Season: He was such an amazing shooter and he literally made shots from 30 feet back. He had incredibly range and he knocked them down with great efficiency. It was fun to see him lead BYU to a pretty deep tournament run for a mid-major team.
Dee Brown – Junior Season: Whenever Dee Brown was an All-American, he was incredibly fun to watch. He, Luther Head, and Deron Williams led a vicious Illinois team to a 37-2 record, only to lose in the NCAA Tournament Finale against the North Carolina Tar Heels. Dee was such a good leader. He was incredibly fast, and I love speedy players. I also really enjoyed the Illinois announcer screaming "Dee forrrrrrrrrrrrrrr Threeeeeeeeeeeeeee!" It was such a magical time at the University of Illinois.
Anthony Davis – Freshman Season: Who honestly didn’t enjoy watching this guy? He threw shots into the 10th row of the stands. The dude was a beast shot-blocker and a vicious dunked. He was very entertaining to watch and I will look for him to keep on showing off in the NBA.
NBA Picks:
Blake Griffin: He dunks. Holy hell does he dunk. His facials on Mozgov, Perkins, and Pau Gasol were my personal favorites. The dude just plays with some much energy and passion, I love it.
Ty Lawson: Lawson is like one of the fastest, if not the fastest player in the NBA while handeling the ball. He is a one-man fast break, and I love watching his game. I also witnessed him knocking down ten 3-point field goals in a row which was ultimately impressive.
LeBron James: He can do it all. Plain and simple. He can score inside and out. He can pass, he can rebounds, he can defend. He is the best All-Around player the NBA has to offer and he is so explosive. As much as I despise ‘The Decision’, I know that he is a marvelous player and he is really fun to watch.

2quick4uParticipant– drazen petrovic: my favorite player of all time, so fun to watch specially while playing in europe before going to the nba. a total game changer in europe just like jordan was for the nba. if everybody wanted to be like mike in the US, everybody wanted to be like "petro" in europe..
–j.c.navarro: amazing to watch this guy when he gets on fire hitting impossible shots in those moments when no one wants the ball..
–grant hill: while playing at duke. just fell in love with his game.
–magic johnson: my favorite nba player of all time. a total show on the court and always with a smile on his face.

Professor RozayParticipantHigh School: Played at prep school during my high school years and played in this tournment in basketball city in Manhattan, NY and for a couple of games I saw Jarrett Jack play and I knew that he was going to the NBA. He was great to watch that weekend. Craig Smith(Not sure if he still playing with the blazers)and Carl Elliott (playing with Cocodrilos in Venezuela) was on that team.

Andrew1984ParticipantI saw about a dozen or so of LeBron’s high school games in person, and that was pretty special.
I second Steph Curry in college (all three seasons).
I also second Salim Stoudamire.
Tony Stockman in high school. He played at Clemson and then Ohio State, and has been playing in various international leagues since then. He was the quickest player I’ve ever seen in person.
Remember that like two-week stretch in 2006-2007 when Kobe scored in the mid 40s or low 50s like seven or eight straight games? That was pretty incredible to follow.
0- Posted on: Thu, 08/02/2012 - 6:15am #702713
Andrew1984ParticipantI just had to look it up because I was curious. Check out this seven-game stretch:
3-16-07 versus Portland: 65 points
3-18-07 versus Minnesota: 50 points
3-22-07 at Memphis: 60 points
3-23-07 at New Orleans: 50 points
3-25-07 versus Golden State: 43 points
3-27-07 versus Memphis: 23 points
3-30-07 versus Houston: 53 pointsThat is simply an other-worldly two-week stretch!
