Are they deserving to be lottery picks? I’ve seen their names on the board for quite some time now, but I personally don’t hear much about them.

Can someone fill in with info about either of them?

ive seen vesley play and to tell you the truth hes not as impressive as people think he is. he averages a little under 10 points in more than 25 mins and he is a starter. most of his points are from fast breaks in which he dunks on a wide open hoop and sometimes but rarely on a person. other than that he really doesnt poses any post skills, ball dribling, 3 points shooting… he can just jump pretty high.

ive seen donatas motiejunas play online and he actually is pretty good (i saw him about 2 years ago) he has a deadly jumper and great size (7 foot) he has talent to play guard in the way that he weaves through defenders in the post and through the lane. the only down side is he NEVER dunks he always goes for the layup or the step back jumper. donatas is 7 foot… he should be dunking over his competition.

Jan Vesely is long, tall and mobile. Great dunker, great runner. Solid passer, relatively high basketball IQ. Very tough and aggressive. Developing offense. At this point in his career, his offensive game is limited to dunks and three pointers (which he shoots at a high percentage), but shows the potential to play in the post and off the dribble. Good defender, good lateral quickness, solid frame. Comparison – Jonas Jerebko/Tayshaun Prince

Donatas Motiejunas can do a lot offensively. Great footwork, can operate in the post (high or low). Great passing ability. Moves well, with ball or without. Can take slower players off the dribble. Very fluid. Good shooting form and range. Solid run and jump athlete. Legit 7-footer. Short wingspan. Needs to add weight. Gets pushed around. Doesn’t box out well. Poor defender. Lots of potential. Comparison – Ersan Ilyasova/Andrea Bargnani
