Monta Ellis to the LakeShow
This is why I hate the Lakers so much, they get all the good players. And when they get them they basically rob them from the other team. Like Gasol for example. This trade would just be chapter in the "Gasol Trade" Why would the Warriors accept giving up Ellis for Brown. Brown is just a fringe starter that can capitalize only occasionally, while Ellis delivers. He can play both guard positions well while Brown can only play the SG but isn't that good. He can jump but so can Ronnie Price. Jumping isn't everything.
Why do you clowns care about my points? I truly don't, so why should you? It's quite obvious why I have a lot of negatives. I love to post great trade ideas, and haters like DWill just instantly click the thumbs down before he even thinks about the trade. He probably sees the Lakers and then boom, I get a negative LMAO, because people are sick of the Lakers dominating the league. We have destroyed his Jazz for 3 or 4 seasons in a row what do you expect?? He instanly thought this trade was just Brown for Ellis, how dumb can you get?
Every post that is just an amateur trade idea will get negatives because they are pointless and 90% of the time they are biased.
I honestly don't even go into these types of topics any more unless it's a DNYCE post. I just like reading all the funny responses.
So the Warriors should just stand pat? How many years do they have to go to the lottery before they realize they need to make a change? Im convinced that the new Warriors owner will make changes sooner or later, he has already mentioned that he wants to build the team like the Celtics(defensive minded). Bynum is a huge improvement at the 5 and Artest is still a better player than Wright at this point. Artest would bring toughness to that team that they haven't had in God knows how long. They also get out of the Biedrins deal, I highly doubt the new owner wants to keep him for 4 more seasons. Biedrins would be a solid backup for Gasol, and Wright would be a good fit in the triangle(he would be similar to Ariza, but he has a better jumper).
Shannon Brown only plays 18.8 mpg and he Avgs 10 a game. If Shannon got the minutes he would thrive on that Warriors team. Shannon would make many of you sound foolish on these boards. http://www.nbadraft.net/players/shannon-brown
But we shouldnt break up our main core. We have the 3rd most productive starting lineup in the NBA. We need a upgrade at center , a backup SF and a backup PG. Id LOVE Bynum but not for Monta. Id trade Andris, a lottery protected 1st, Gadzuric and Vlads big expiring contract for him in a heart beat
" You amaze me DNYCE. Your creativity rivals that of Pablo Picasso. "
" @dwilljazz
You know this didn't happen chill bro "
LMFAO. You guys crack me up. Pure comedy gold!
I'm waiting until the day comes when Andrew Bynum goes on his Twitter Page and tells DNYCE to STOP Hating on him...
I never said that it happened. That's why I said WOULD twice. If I thought it did happen, I would have said DID. Next time read my post. They usually aren't that hard to understand.
And for your information, DNYCE I did think about the trade. I am not a hater, I just don't like the trade for that reason. I never have been a hater. Just take a look at my points and that is a testament to this. Yes I realize that it is not just Brown for Ellis but that doesn't make a difference it is still a dumb trade. Just because it makes your Lakers better does not mean that it is a good trade. You have to realize that Warriors really like Ellis because him and Curry create an excellent backcourt. They would never give that up unless you give them another nice backcourt option and Brown is not that. Not even close.
You suck
We could take Vlad Rad back and give you guys Ebanks. He would provide you guys with a solid backup behind Artest. Ebanks is only 21 years old and he has a lot of potential.
What do the Warriors have to lose with this trade? Monta Ellis is an undersized 2 guard, and the Warriors have only been to the playoffs once in the past 16 seasons.
The trade isnt that bad at all other then Bynums injury issues, that is what ruins it. A fair deal would be Beidrins and Ellis for Gasol and Brown.
How it benefits Golden State
Gasol is a legit bigman who could easily average 23 and 10 on Golden State. He would slide in very nice next to Lee in the Golden State frontcourt giving them a dirty utility guy in Lee (who does have a bit of a skillset), and an offensive minded, post player in Gasol (who can play good defensively while determined). Shannon Brown is due for his breakout year after backing up Kobe for awhile. Moving from LA's tough lineup to Golden State would easily make him a Most Improved Player candidate. Also Beidrins has been overpaid and Golden State needs to get rid of that contract.
How it benefits Los Angeles
Monta Ellis gets alot of critique for his performance...people underrate him, and overemphasize problems such as his size, teams record, lack of team play, shot happy nature, and lack of defense. No matter what anyone says about Ellis I still believe he is one of the purest scorers in the league and a great player and a borderline superstar. Beidrins playing in a winning enviroment such as LA's could become an extremely good utility player, and LA would definitely need a second big to rest Bynum and have security for while he is injured. Lakers also begin there rebuilding process without losing title contention.
