FritzParticipantI cant tell where he is standing but it doesnt look that much further past half court. One day after our weightlifting exam we were stuck in the gym for like 2 hours and I attempted a couple of these shots at halfcourt where you just throw it one handed over your head like this. I made 3 of these shots in less than 20 min its really not as hard as it looks all you have to do is line your body up with the goal and throw it straight over your head, I actually think its not much harder than a normal halfcourt shot because when you throw the ball like this it goes pretty straight and its easy to get distance shooting like this than shooting a half court shot normally like a running jumpshot.
If he did this on his first shot it would be impressive but he obviously didn’t because cameras are set up here, I feel any of us on this site who have touched a basketball before and go make this shot on surprisingly not that many attempts. Im not impressed.
What is impressive is someone like Seth Curry who attempted 2 3/4 court shots and made both of them during All star weekend last year.

Mr. 19134ParticipantI was impressed by it and yeah he was atleast at the other 3 point line he was pretty far but this didn’t surprise me because I think Ellis can hit that shot from anywhere in the Gym. Did you see when he did it from the tunnel of the arena? That one was a big deal because he did a Gang Disciples handshake afterwards. Ellis has to have the best tough in the NBA.
