Where can Monroe go? I know its a question been thrown around a lot, and that he doesn’t seem to have much value atm, but I think he will get moved by the start of the season.

I saw that Mo Harkless is in a stalemate to re-sign with the Blazers

    http://basketball.realgm.com/wiretap/242896/Maurice-Harkless-Blazers-Remain-In-Contract-Stalemate

Maybe a sign & trade to the Bucks may work?

I think Harkless would really fit in in Milwaukee, with Parker, Giannis, Middleton etc

Portland has been identified as a good spot for Monroe by others before. Thoughts?

I think Monroe can co-exist next to Anthony Davis. Also maybe as a super-sub for the Jazz.. as I thought a trade centered around Alec Burks could interest Milwaukee in return. But I’m not sure Utah would pull the trigger on such a deal that would block minutes for Trey Lyles.. whose been impressive this summer.

But yea.. I’ll go with New Orleans as a dark horse to get in on the inevitable Monroe sweepstakes in the coming months.

I like the idea of the Hornets from the sheer fact that coach Clif was successfull with the same cast of characters around Al Jeff .

Also if Kings are actually going to move Boogie Monroe would be a perfect fit and could getting empty numbers in Sactramento.

NBA Draft #15 overall pick Maurice "Mo" Harkless — Harkless was part of the Andrew Bynum trade that wrecked the Sixers Franchise & gave Birth to Sam Hinkie as GM

Sixers gave up Starters Andre Igudola SF & Center Nikola Vucevik plus their 2012, 2015 & 2017 — 1st round picks

I like some of the other Suggestions b/c Harkless is such a nice piece who just "Fits In" almost anywhere but now it’s actually fun to remember how it all started — B4 winning the NBA Draft Lottery it am was Traumatic to "remember"

Monroe is a PF not a centre. He would fit in well starting at PF for Denver, they have a few young assets they could use in the deal (although they wouldn’t need much with his contract)

PPL forget he was very good in Detroit with Drummond – he wasn’t far off being an all-star

Spacing was terrible in Detroit with Monroe at the 4. He’s not quick enough to guard stretch 4s and his 15ft jumper is unreliable at best. He’s a great passer which is best utilised in a ‘Bogut’ type role. He also cannot defend the rim at all. If he could at least hit a consistent mid range jumper he could possibly play the 4. As it stands, his skill set is best suited to be a 5.

What about a trade between bucks and celtics, Monroe and MCW for Smart, the Swedish guy and Hunter?

I think a Monroe for Gortat swap would make sense. For Milaukee they would be getting a true veteran center who would provide the team with the type of solid foundational center they lack. His contract is also friendly in the inflated market. For the Wizards it allows Monroe to move to his natural 4 position and start alongside a defensive center like Mahinmi. Would allow them to move Markieff Morris to the bench.

Gortat is one of the leagues best Centers and not the problem in Washington. He is the second best player on that team. Monroe is easily a downgrade age aside but they want to win now. Gortat plays a physical brand of basketball and does a lot of dirty work Monroe can’t do. I still think Gortat abusing Toronto’s frontcourt was the main difference in that playoff series.

Not sure who to trade but he would fit good in NO playing Center. Think he’s too slow to play PF.
