Lotto StudParticipantMoments ago I finished doing a little Draft Lottery history homework, which is where I took notice of the error.
Within the 2006 Draft the error claims that the teams with picks 6-8 are incorrect.
- Brandon Roy #6 Minnesota not Portland
- Randy Foye #7 Boston not Minnesota
- Rudy Gay #8 Houston not Memphis
While I took notice of this error, I cannot state how many more are incorrect because I only locked in on the Lottery.

FutureNBAGMParticipant1) Roy was originally drafted by Minnesota(traded to Portland later that night)
2) Foye was originally drafted by Portland(traded to Minnesota later that night)
3) Gay was originally drafted by Houston(traded to Memphis for Shane Battier later that night)
make sense now?

Lotto StudParticipantYou are incorrect on Foye Sir which backs up my statement to why it should be fixed.
And yes! It does make sense, possibly to those who have kept up with that Draft class at the time. There are a lot of users who are fairly new and may become confused by such a thing. Everyone does not go about reading the notes at the bottom of the page.
Another error as well
- LaMarcus Aldridge Chicago not Portland
- Tyrus Thomas Portland not Chicago
Makes sense now?

Lotto StudParticipantCorrect! That’s what I am addressing but according to the Mock Archives, Aldridge was selected by Portland at #2 Thomas by Chicago at #4.

FutureNBAGMParticipantWell technically Foye was drafted by Boston. The pick was traded by Boston to Portland earlier that day in a deal for the Celtics Sebastian Telfair. But for whatever reason, the pick had to be made first BEFORE the trade could be consummated. I have that draft on tape still matter of fact. In all fairness, it was a crazy night of trades.
