Prospect21ParticipantI did some editing. I would write comments but I rather see some opinions and backup my thinking.

rhofernParticipantwhiteside is going in 2011
kemba walker is a 2nd rounder
singler is a 2nd rounder but overall not bad!!0 - Posted on: Mon, 02/08/2010 - 2:46pm #253986
blackflash234ParticipantFor Golden State’s 1st round pick, I just don’t see them taking another wing player. They have so many as it is. I think their pick comes down to Donatas Montejuenas and DeMarcus Cousins. I think Donatas more likely because he would fit perfectly in Nellie’s system. Cousins could also intrigue Golden State.

Prospect21ParticipantI’m gonna keep Whiteside in the top 12 until he says he’s not going to enter. He’s 20 and I would not be surprised if he declared.
Kemba is a good player. He needs some more wins under the belt. He will impress scouts.
Singler is mid 1st-early 2nd.
For Golden State- I believe they do take another wing. They have Anthony Randolph, Brendan Wright who both have high upside. Wes could come in and help the starting line and the bench

nateoak10ParticipantEes would be great for us, Buike may not be back and Maggs’ future is either elsewhere or as a 6th amn at best. We need franchise small forward. If we get a big it’s either Cousins or Whiteside since we need rebounding, defense and a big inside prescense (spelling?)

SwatLakeCityParticipantWhere the freak is Avery Bradley. that kid is a freakin’ stud. Yeah he is only 6’3, but dwade is only 6’4, and AI is only 6’1 and they play the same position. Ellis is only 6’1 as well and I think he is more suited for a SG. The bulls would much rather go for Bradley instead of warren.
I think the rest of the draft is good, although I agree that Whiteside will not declare until next year, and even if he wasn’t Utah would not pass him up and go for Monroe. They have been waiting since Ostertag for a like Whiteside or Aldrich. If Whiteside does not declare until next semester, and Aldrich had already been picked by someone else, then they would probably go for Patterson, because of his workaholic attitude, his nice outside shot, and nice rebounding. Yes, Monroe rebounds more, and blocks better, but he can’t hit a shot from the outside if the world depended on it. Utah likes their PF’s to shoot from the outside, look at Booz, he has a nice jumper up to the freethrow line. Monroe cannot hit those shots, He can only pass and dunk and rebound, which is nice, but those things can be taught very easily, while an outside shot from a big man, can but is very tough. Patterson can rebound, shoot well from the outside, and is willing to go inside if needed. Patterson fits their style of play better. Other then that it is not too bad.
(I may be biased when it comes to Utah, but believe I know what I’m talking about, Patterson better fits them and they would never pass on Whiteside or Aldrich if the oppurtunity permits it.)0 - Posted on: Mon, 02/08/2010 - 3:39pm #254005
Prospect21ParticipantI don’t know. I believe Bradley needs to stay another year and lock down the PG position.
Patterson would fit better? I dunno. I think they have that big man in Milsap. I think Monroe fits better. He can pass rebound and play the post better right now. I don’t see Utah taking the big potential guy. I also gave them a Big in Jerome Jordan at thier 2nd 1st rounder.
