Right now… I’d pick MKG if I was in win now mode he’s clearly the best defender out of all of them and his offense is coming along. Later down the road, I’d pick Jaylen Brown. I love his game and honestly I said it back when the first 2016 mock draft came out and I’ll say it still. He is my pick for best player from this draft class. He is my favorite player and his playing style appears to be adapting well.

Jaylen Brown just has that alpha-dog mentality and the work ethic that makes me believe that he is going to be the next Jimmy Butler and develop a good mid-range game with playmaking ability.  His jumpshot is the best out of the three at this point and he’s in best situation in Boston with veterans like Horford, Thomas and Crowder who will teach him how to be a pro on and off the court and developing that winning mindset.

It depends on what teams the spend most of their career with.

If they all stay with current teams(Miami,Boston,Charlotte) then it goes as follows:

Right Now MKG(due to more experience)  and when healthy has the best stats on a more regular basis

Best in 5 years: Jaylen brown due to players and coaches that can mentor him however the depth of the team will possibly limit how far he can go with them. For example his ceiling might be Starter with Celtics.

Best career:Assuming the heat don’t draft a Sf in the next 3 years(They will be going lottery this year if they were smart) Justise Winslow will get the opportunity/more opportunity to earn the right to be a franchise corner stone(1,2,3 option on a team) the only issue is his mentor is now not on the team..But he has improved offensively, already had that Kawhi lite defense going on…

However if players leave their teams I could quite easily see Justise and Brown switching but it really depends on what they want to be: A franchise player or if they are just happy being a paid starter…

I’ve always been an MKG fan as he does a lot of intangibles and heavy lifting that his flat stats don’t always portray. I think he is still getting back into the swing of things after missing most of last season.

Winslow is making good progress this year and as said above could be the sort of guy that Miami rebuild around.

Brown has only played a handful of NBA games but I think he could have the best career of the 3 guys, he certainly has the ability to become the best scorer of the three and may have that bit of star quality about him although the other two guys can have excellent careers too.

It isn’t even close for me. It’s Jaylen Brown. Justice Winslow is an athlete playing basketball not the basketball player that is a great athlete. MKG shooting will always cap his ability, and is being caliber player of Gerald Wallace can be considered a bust ? Jaylen Brown has shown me he will definitely be the better shooter, and the more overall skilled guy.

Cannot believe Zach got +9 for saying jaylen brown will be best in his draft class…

Better than Simmons, Ingram, Dunn etc

I think you are underestimating Jaylen Brown. He is arguably the best athlete from the 2016 draft. He has shown an improved jump shot (his big weakness before the draft). Not saying it is there yet, but the fact he is improving his biggest weakness is a good sign. He is younger and a better athlete than Dunn, so it would be no surprise Brown ends up a better player. I like Ingram and Simmons, but Brown has a greater ability to be a two-way player. While both Ingram and Simmons should develop into offensive stars, Brown looks like the best defender of the three. He is also the smartest of the three, so he can best beat opponents with his mind. Not saying Brown will be the best player from his draft (I would still bet on Simmons), but I think there is a decent chance Brown could be his draft’s best player.

Gerald Wallace used to be my favourite player, so naturally I like MKG. I think his career might be plagued by injuries though. He plays hard just like Gerald Wallace but is not Gerald Wallace. Wallace was a decent (but not great) shooter, in his prime could put up 18-20ppg and absolutely stuff the stat sheet.

I don’t think any of these three will be all-stars, they might put up 10-15ppg but cannot see any of them being 20+ppg all-stars…

Right now, definitely MKG no question. But career wise, I say Winslow because of all the guys listed he has the most opportunity to be a star in the league yeah sure his mentor is on the other team but he has made strides on offense and he already has Kawhi-like defense. The other thing he has an edge is that he could play multiple postions. Spoelstra plays him at the 4 in small ball lineups at times and his ball handling is improving so yeah. It quite close between Brown and Winslow but Justise won by a slight margin.

Its great to see MKG playing solid ball. He had that late rise in H.S. and played one year in NCAA.  A Lot of guys have the tools but can’t put it all together.  I appreciate guys like MKG, Favors and even Otto Porter coming on this year.

MKG didn’t have a late rise in high school, he was number 1 in his class for years.

Saying justice Winslow is just an athlete playing basketball is just dumb. Have you actually watched the guy play?
