Will his J be dropping all night or not?

He must have worked on it.

he will do everything that need to be done for him to fulfill being one of the two best prospects in this draft, i have no doubts in him, he will be top 2 best player from this draft at the end of the day, i belive in MJ calling him a Scottie Pippen clone!

MKG was my second favorite player in the draft. He has probably the most heart and intangibles of any player in the draft and I think he will kill it tonight 🙂

I might actually become a Bobcats fan(just wish they would change their name at least). Kemba MKG and Biyombo

If your asking if all the sudden he will be hitting jump shots than no. He had 18 years to work on it now in 1 month he’ll hvae it down, thats not how it works scout.

HEs doing what I expected. Can’t be stopped when driving because he’s quick and strong. Eventually his jumper will come. Like I said in 08 when he was a soph in H.S he will be a future AllStar and all defensive team

Didn’t get a chance to watch him that much at Kentucky. One thing I never got a sense of from watching highlights is how lightening quick his first step is, he’s getting into the lane at will and showing soft hands and explosive finishing ability. Also it appears that Biyombo completely retooled his shooting mechanics in his long offseason as he knocked down his two freethrows with confidence. Thomas Robinson needs to slow down and stop taking as many jumpers and just attack.

he is doing just what he is supposed run hustle rebound steal i always thought he is very underrated passer too just very versitile..and his jumper is ugly but much better then people think too..and lastly he is FAST..

His form on his jumper is awful, gonna take a while before he fixes that. But you cant teach guys to be as willing a defender as he is. I just want to see a young man with a promising future on the court thats all for now. As bad as my Cats are all we can ask for is for him to play hard every night.

Kemba has to try so hard to finish around the rim especially in transition. What would be an easy layup for a guy with more length, Kemba has to come down court full speed and do a series of moves on the fly to get around his defender.

The TAylor pick is looking pretty good,I was upset that they took two SFs but they can play together for sure, this is basically Bobcats starting 5

MKG is good in a fast brake game. Confused on the negatives cause I like the kid. No one answered the question. He will be forced to shoot all the time it will make him Tyreke like. Similar game unless his j improves.

He isnt gonna turn into a knock down shooter just because he’s been working on his J. That kind of skill and consistency takes time to manifest as a part of someone’s game, sure you might see some signs of improvement but you don’t just go from having a broken shot to being a knock down shooter in one offseason.

Won’t have to shoot all the time because of his quick first step ala rondo and stack house when he first got in the NBA and Rose and Westbrook and Scottie Pippen and many many others.  Taylor will not start because G.Henderson is still there

It’s only one summer league game, but there’s a lot to like about this kid.

He’s quick, strong, athletic and decisive. I like the aggression he plays with at both ends and like I said… He’s really decisive.

MJ may have actually gotten this one right.

Nunnaly I think. These annoucers must not watch much college ball cause they said Robinson isn’t a true PF, simply because this game he has handled the ball alot. Power is the one word you would use to describe his game.

MKG is pretty much doing what he has done since high school. Hustle, scrap, defend, get to the hole and make a few jumpers. Sounds like Scottie Pippen right? Cats still need a true scorer. Shabaz Mohammad maybe? Andrew Wiggins in 2 years maybe? Cats will still struggle but I like the effort from the team. Nice start.

Bobcats have time. They aren’t going to be a playoff teams for years and years so they can just develop their young players and build through the draft.  Top 3 pick next year they can pick up Zeller,Noel or Bazz or whoever moves up out of nowhere then the year after pick up the pg Harrison kid if Walker hasn’t turned into a very good pg by then

I think they say that because he doesn’t have many post moves and he doesn’t have Blake type explosiveness and won’t be able to just over power the NBA Power forwards

He may not be as explosive but he is the next best thing to Blake, or the guy who most resembles Blake.

These announcers really hate the Kings. They cant seems to stop ragging on the team and talking about how they are such a mess that they can garuntee T-Rob will have a worse year than Sulinger because Jared is on a better team and can learn from KG.

There really isn’t much to say about the kings as far as niceness. Jimmer might not be in the NBA in a couple of years and Robinson doesn’t have a vet to learn from.  The kings are a messy team just like the bobcats except they are a messy summer league team so far as well

So…a couple things I’ve taken from this game so far…

Robinson seems to be trying to make too many plays or is too aggressive….these things are pretty easy to fix and I think he’ll be fine…his passing is better than I expected and it seems like he tries to be more of a point forward when he and Jimmer were playing together so maybe his mistakes will decrease when he plays with the starters.

Jimmer looks lost trying to run the offense and jacks up a lot of shots. I’m not sure he’ll be anything more than a spot up shooter.

MKG is making me sad that he didn’t fall to the Kings…all I gotta say about that.

Jeffery Taylor can stroke it….grats Charlotte for getting a possible steal.

I know it’s one game but I don’t care, this kid is going to be a star, he is legit, he has a relentless motor, he attacks the rim like crazy, he has a very nice first step which allows him to get to the rim with ease, whne you spread the floor he can drive to the basket anytime he wants, and he can finish with a dunk or a layup, really strong and athletic as well.

If he can hit that midrange jumper consistently, the NBA is in trouble, this kid is going to be a SUPERSTAR of the highest order. This is not unrealistic, he is going to score 25 a game, get 7 boards, and be a top 5 perimeter defender in the league. I am very high in this guy, and am confident he will be the franchise player Charlotte needs.

Yes it’s one summer league game but I hear you..Thing is, he has been a winner since high school. Top player in his class, top 2-3 player in college, I mean he is use to being very good..He finds away..Jordan was right..sort of like Pippen..

I would have loved if Bobcats took Barnes but MKG is looking to be a better scorer than I thought yet I doubt he is a first of second option on offense though and that seems to be what Cats need.  I know Sessions should help him get some easy point though he they continue to play at a fast pace.

You know what the scary thing is?  HE IS ONLY 18!!!!!!  Same age as some H.S seniors.  Like I say with all players, it’s only summer league, but I’ve been high on him since H.S and all summer league does it confirm to me what he is and should become.

Robinson is going to be a stud as well, handles the ball better than I thought  but needs to also work on his post moves. I think there might be issue with teammates. I say this because you see how pissed he was about losing a summer league game, now imagin losing a regular season game and some of his teammates laughing in the locker room after like the game isn’t that important
