jaysmith1987ParticipantMitchell Robinson just got put into a terrible position. He has to transfer and sit out a year or go pro. The best option to me would be to go to the g league if you dominate declare if not hold off until you build enough intrigue to go in the first round. Another off the path option would be to go a junior college for a year dominate and turn pro. Scouts love a player with upside and not to much tape to nitpick. As we have seen before scouts will find talent no matter what. It is important that dude gets a chance to play.

he_gets_bucketsParticipantHe would not dominate in the G-League or any other pro league- he is 19 year old kid playing against fully grown men. Not to say he couldn’t get drafted but I dont see him putting up double digit points in any pro league.

TopShottaParticipantHe could go overseas for a year (china or australia), but who knows if he has the proper support system to make a move like that. If the ncaa won’t give him a waiver to play this year and going overseas is off the table he should just go to Kentucky for the year, practice against some of the best players in the nation and look at his pro options at the end of the season…

ChoppyParticipantThe Australian NBL is trying to make serious links to the NBA. We had Terrance Ferguson play there last year. Torrey Craig with the Nuggets on a two way contract played there also and now three NBL teams are playing pre season exhibition games against NBA teams later this year. Coming to Australia would be a great option for him – No language barrier, lesser competition, similar culturally. It would be easier for him to adapt to that situation than say going to China. With the links we are currently establishing with the NBA, it will be a path more follow in the future.

ph90702I actually think practicing at Kentucky would be a good idea.

ChoppyParticipantPracticing is great and a commendable thing, but playing meaningful, competitive games against grown men is better in my opinion.

he_gets_bucketsParticipantIf he was going to any old college I’d agree but Kentucky is probably the only place I’d disagree. They have so many studs, a proven coaching staff and heaps of connections with current NBA players and staff that could allow him to blossom more than the NBL imo.
