How do you guys feel about Mitchell Robinson?(2018) I respect the fact that he chose Western Kentucky over UK and I think that killed a bit of his hype. To me his skill set alone if he lives up to it is top 5 (I said the same thing last year with Tatum) He’s flying under the radar rn 7’1 great handle I was like wow ..mobile will be able to switch out to the 3pt very well and can shoot the 3..you just don’t see 7’1 guys who can shoot and move like Durant and be a traditional shot blocking center on defense. I like Bomba and Ayton but I feel Robinson could end up being the best of the three Thoughts?

You’re overselling his ball handling and shooting. He struggles to pass on the move, he has to come to a stop first. He’s a late bloomer with a raw skill set. His offense right now is rim running. He shot around 55% on the EYBL with a mechanical release. While he is athletic, active, and intense, I would never mention him with KD. He lacks fluidity, runs a bit awkward and stiff.

I agree your putting to much hype off of what you’ve seen on "mixtapes" his ballhandling is below average and so is his shot. Let’s see what he’s going to do against real competition his freshman year.

Not sure if I respect that he picked Western Kentucky, he could of pick a smaller school in a better confrence and went up agaisnt better competition on a nightly basis. Now he’s going against schools like Troy State and Georgia State, he should dominant. Just like he does in his mixtapes against smaller competition.

Western Kentucky is a good basketball program.  They have more tournament appearances than anybody outside of the nine main conferences.
