 From all the thumbs down I guess his highlight tape wasnt that great and college coaches don’t know what they are talking about when they think he will move up in then the national rankings in the upcoming months.  He’s currently 78th in the country in the class of 2012.  Seems to me he’s better than that, but I could be wrong.  Sorry I wasted everyones time with this post.

This post was from a while back, and I think pardigmn has learned what’s up. He just posted a vid to his original topic. Dude likes Mitch McGary, no need to go to crazy. Yes, it can get annoying when someone brings up "well, I said this, and you didn’t like it, but I was right and you were wrong", but this dude did bring up something before people were talking about it. I do not think that was a really necessary thing to say TOL.

Dude just posted a highlight from Mitch McGary that moved this post back-up. That is why it is important to look at the date on these things, because everything he posted was when he was a new member. You gave no constructive criticism, and your insult is not at all relevant to a board where the closest thing we have to females is Beno asking if we have pictures of Zaza Pachulia in a tube top.

Obviously you don’t see the correlation between whining and females.  I don’t know what to say if you don’t see it.   I guess I should have wrote it this way, "Quit whining [about points] like a female"  If that makes you feel better about the analogy I made.

There is sarcasm pointing at the fact that he got negatives. 

Now I do admit I did not look at the date but it is still annoying.  You’re defending him because you guys squashed beef yesterday, and that’s cool.  Don’t try to change my mind about someone whining about points.  It will get you no where.

I am saying it because I felt like it was uncalled for. When I see something I do not agree with it, I comment on it, but I do not say mean things just to be mean. I actually like the way you come at people who you think are not coming correct, it is a nice new trend by you. But, there are better ways to do it than that. Plus, I definitely see the correlation, just find it an incredibly weak. Calling people girls just makes me think you have an incredible problem getting them. I am not saying you do, but when anyone says "you whine like a woman", they look like a d.

There were better ways to do it man, and you should just have said, "I will look at the date next time, my bad." I am not defending people whining about points, I find it just as annoying as you do, but I also find that when people do not read or take things in context, they can look a tad ridiculous and maybe say something a little uncalled for. You saw what we wrote yesterday, you followed that whole thing, I think he is new and got the message, do not know why you needed to write your hilarious correlation between whining about something a month ago and females. Thinking about things before saying them is always a good idea.

It’s okay if you don’t agree with my correlation, that’s your call.  Now, I admitted I didn’t read the date but you already know this kid has been whining about his points for days already.  if what I did here bothered you so much, I’ll use your quote from yesterday’s post.

That’s exactly how I feel about you coming at me for stating my opinion.  It’s my opinion and you coming at me isn’t going to change what I said.  If I could, I still wouldn’t go back and edit what I said.  It’s the way I feel about this certain poster and it’s the way I’m going to feel until he changes, which he is currently doing.

You would not have wrote if had you seen the date. I am just trying to make YOU aware that you are not always perfect either. This is has been my opinion, and I feel it is constructive. Take it whatever way you want to take it, but I think you should just rub it off and say, "I’ll try better next time." Maybe I am being stubborn, but I have a feeling you are as well.

Give him a chance to change before saying something like you did. Writing something about what he posted a month before is not doing that. Hope you get it.

Rumors are that Mitch might reclassify to his original class, which would mean he could be playing college ball next winter. These are early rumors, and his coach I guess believes he will be back, but nonetheless it would be a big late recruiting grab for some school. James McAdoo was rumored to have possibly be going to UNC last year and decided not too, and of course this happened earlier in the year with Khem Birch (Pittsburgh) and Alex Murphy (Duke) deciding to forego an extra year of HS (though I believe Murphy moved up from his original class rather than just rejoining it).

"Twitter is abuzz this morning with talk that rising power forward Mitch McGary (Chesterton, Ind./Brewster Academy) — ESPNU’s top-rated player at his position in 2012 — could possibly reclassify into the 2011 and join UConn for next season. McGary recently took a visit to Storrs, which helped add fuel to the fire.

But Jeff Goodman of CBSSports.com quickly doused this rumor, tweeting, "UConn isn’t the only one that would like to add Brewster Academy big man Mitch McGary for this season, but it doesn’t appear likely."

Taken from ESPN insider CBB rumors. Earlier in the year we had also heard Andre Drummond might reclassify to his original 2011 class, but he seems to be coming back for a Post Grad year as well. I am wondering if this will effect them being able to play in the McDonald’s All-American Game? I do not know if they were held back early or what not, but 5th year Post Grad players are usually ineligible for that particular game. Pretty sure the Jordan Game and Hoop Summit are a different story, but John Wall did not play in the McDonald’s game because of the 5th year PG rule.

 I posted this topic 4/21/11….3 days after I joined NBAdraft.net…So, I apologize if I came across as a "baby".  I agree with you TOUNGE-OUT-LIKE 23 that it is annoying when people complain about points.  I wasn’t complaing so much about "points" as I was just trying to wonder where people were coming from.  To anyone that knows basketball, it was clear he was better than the 78th rated player in the country and I was just trying to get my point across.

To MIKEYVTHEDON….We have had some good conversations in my short time at this site.  We haven’t always seen eye to eye, but I just wanted to say THANK YOU for coming to my defense on this particular issue.  I said it b4 and I’ll say it again, weather people agree or disagree about a topic, I believe the "regular posters" at this site provide great feedback to an opinion or topic and I value those opinions.
