MattHoopsParticipantA few in the Minn media are claiming that the Twolves and Rockets are talking about a trade. The T-Wolves would trade their two second round picks and the rights to Nemanja Bjelica for the number 18 pick. The T-Wolves would then take Tyus Jones.
I actually like Bjelica. I think the T-Wolves would be better off with signing a veteran backup point guard.
ESPN 1500’s Darren Wolfson has said that the local kid, Jones, is a "priority for Minnesota.
Thoughts?
I would rather take a shooter like Hunter at 18 and sign a veteran backup PG.

phila9012ParticipantThe Twolves got Tyus Jones. This draft worked out great for us. We needed a back up PG and he fits the bill perfectly. He can shoot and makes the right play. Also it means lavine won’t have to play PG which was fine last year but it was clear he was a SG. Another key for the twolves they players actually want to be there and grow together. Towns and Jones are 19 and wiggins and lavine are 20. This team is young and have very bright future.
