Minnesota have the worst luck in the NBA

Everyone know's that they do have the worst luck in the NBA (Please tell if you can find a worse case) and this just proves it.

On August 12th 2005 the T'Wolves traded Sam Cassell, who was still an OK PG at the time, with a future first rounder. In rounder they got...

Drum roll Marco Jaric and Lionel Chalmers from the LA Clippers!!!

Now these playeers didn't help them at all so basically they just lost a first round pick. However that first round pick was top 10 protected from the 2006 draft right through to 2011. So next year it is unprotected. So what? you may ask it isn't any different then NY trading there pick last year to Utah, well the 2012 draft will probably be one of the deepest drafts ever and Minnesota will miss out on it! (Well unless they trade for a pick in the draft). So who will they miss out on, well Anthony Davis, Harrison Barnes, Jared Sullinger and Quiency Miller to name four.

Well that proves my point, the Minnesota Timberwolves are the NBA's most unlucky team unless someone can find a more unlucky team, which I don't think is impossible just improbable.

PS I have a couple of guess' for teams people might bring up because of injuries, but try to focus more on stupid trades and star players wlaking out on them, but injuries can be mentioned.

They are unlucky but i also

They are unlucky but i also feel they don't draft smart. I think it was 2008 or 2009 didn't they have four picks in the first round. What did they do draft three point guards and then trade one of them to Denver. Ty Lawson is nasty in denver. I think they should have selected stephon curry over Johnny Flynn for starters. I think they should trade the number pick for a pick in next years draft. I wouldn't have thought of telling Minnesota to trade a number two pick. i knew when it was down to cleveland and minnesota that cleveland would win. I kinda feel bad for this team and players on it. I do sometimes root for the underdog. Kevin Love was amazing this year. I would like to see them land a really good player in the 2012 draft if they end up trading there 2011. I may be as bad but what if Minnesota gave up there number 2 pick, 16th pick I think Wesley Johnson and Jonny Flynn to Detroit for Rip Hamilton and there 2012 pick. I don't know if that works or not. It would get minnesota a pick at least in the 2012 draft. Detroit would get three picks in this draft by taking both of minnesotas first rounders. I am also banking that Detroit will stink and not make the playoffs. I sometimes feel that GM have to take a gamble but the worst trade was sam cassell and a 1st rounder for Marko Jaric and Lionel chambers worst trade to me in history.
