CalipariParticipantThe NBA lockout, though unfortunate, is simply millionaires fighting billionaires. The owners appear increasingly greedy, and the players, as they shouldn’t, aren’t budging. This could really wipe out the season if it gets ugly.
Thoughts…

boxn1ParticipantReally its recent owners against ,the older owners, against players. Why would Aresin(sp) want to lockout his heat??? That’s just it he doesn’t. But Ted Leonis wants to lockout the Wizards because his building is half full most nights and he paid top dollar to become majority owner. Since the last lockout in 98′ over half of the current teams in the league have been sold. Those owners are claiming the losses, and compared to the veteran owners they are. A change in systems won’t help them tho. Because the upper class of the league(Knicks,Lakers,Bulls for example) doesn’t want to change the current revenue sharing plan.

CalipariParticipantThis could aid the players down the line, because those pushing for radical changes in revenue sharing plans are truly in the minority.
