kanebangerParticipantTake a look at the timberwolves preview. The wolves are a joke to analysts also. The wolves think that Darko is the only person on the wolves squad that is starting caliber lol wtf is wrong with the wolves

kkczParticipantDarko Milicic is very good player, he has strenght, height, good shoot for C, but he also has psychological problems…because he went in USA too early, when he was very young

R-Dot-13ParticipantHey, MIN is not going to be a playoff team next year anyway… so i guess they could always try to give him starter minutes to see if they can get him to develop into the player DET thought he was..

JoeWolf1Saying Darko is a very good player is getting ahead of yourself. He showed improvement last year, but averaging 8 points and 5.6 boards for a 15 win team is a far cry from “very good”. He’s young, athletic and still has potential, but servicable would be a better word to describe him right now.

CodySLCParticipantWe all know this but I will say it anyway. Definition of a BUST. He’s been in the league going on 7 years. He’s a good role player and thats what he’ll always be.

McDunkinThe Timberwolves appear to have improved their chances of re-signing Darko Milicic.
Minnesota hired Tony Ronzone as assistant general manager last month. He was Detroit’s international scout when the Pistons selected Milicic second overall in 2003.
Milicic said repeatedly during the season that he wanted to return to Europe, but after the Knicks dealt him to the Timberwolves he softened his stance

kanebangerParticipanti wouldnt even go as far as saying hes a good role player. i dont know why they are making it seem like they hes lebron james with a post about increasing their chances of keeping him. Who cares if he leaves hes not that good that they should worry about it

plasticmanParticipantThis is very puzzling to hear, I would say Darko is their 4th or 5th best player at best. I have to wonder if this was really said, and if so by whom. I can’t imagine one of their coaches saying that.
Also will someone please explain to me why Kane was docked 2 points just for posting this article? I swear this is the most ridiculous basketball forum I have ever come across. People are given or revoked points for no reason whatsoever. What purpose does this thing really serve when people are clearly abusing it?

NbanflguyParticipantDarko is still only 25 years old. His potential is still there and he can improve. He finally has a team that believes in him and his confidence seemed to have improved immensly.
Ha me and my friends thought it was hilarious when he became a wolf, but the more we watched the more we noticed that this guy is no where near as bad as people make him out to be.
As a starter he averaged 9.7 points, 5.7 reb, and 1.2 blks. Not bad for a guy who was out a shape and unconditioned. I am very excited to see what he can do with a full offseason of conditioning under his belt.0 - AuthorPosts
