BallerScriptParticipantWhat do you guys think of him? I have been watching highlights and stuff and from what I can see he is an athletic combo-forward who attacks the rim very well and has great defensive tools but on a few plays didn’t commit on defense too much.
This is all I could gather. Many of you probably know more on this kid so… what is his jumper and playmaking looking like.
EARLY PREDICTION: Stays for atleast his sophomore season.

Robb_CParticipantIve wrote about Miles a few times on here, he seems too have improved a lot since the last time I watched him play. Hes a freak athlete, but can be laterally slow at timea but it looks like hes slimmed down.. Hes a tweener his ball handling isnt good enough to create offense and hes not big enough to be an NBA 4.. Regardless I agree with you two years in College for Miles, Hes going to be fun to watch.

he_gets_bucketsParticipantFrom all reports he has a great work ethic and motor in regards to getting better and working.. but he doesn’t consistently bring that motor to the court on defense, and with his lack of a jumper he’ll need to bring a fire on D if he wants to find minutes in an NBA rotation. Great at attacking the rim at this stage, has fantastic body control and finished through and over contact with ease. His jumper has a good release, but he often corks his body side way, and can start from a side on stance, which leads to a lot of his longer shots glancing off to the side. If he can learn to square up a bit better his shot will definitely start falling more consistently. I like him as a prospect, I see a lot of Harrison Barnes and Marvin Williams in his game. I think he leaves after his sophomore season.

steviechillzParticipantFirst impressions of him: Super-athletic, but so raw. Strong, and can score in the paint, but his jumper needs a lot of work. For him to play on the wing in the NBA, he should take 2 years in college to work on his handle, shooting ability, etc. But defensively and athletically can compete with the best of em…reminds me of a young Aaron Gordon when he came to Zona.
BTW his jumper isn’t broke, but it will take years of practice to work out the weird hitch he has bringing it to the side and keeping his elbow in…you can have an unorthodox shooting form, but there is no repetition in your shot if you can’t keep your elbow in…that’s something he will need to work on

Skeating12345ParticipantIf he does not improve at all, I think he can at the very least be a Derrick Williams type player in the league. However, I am really high on Bridges and think he will be a very good NBA player. He has the size and athleticism, and while his jumper is still a work in progress, he has by all accounts continued to improve in this area over the last couple years. I love his strength and versatility, and I really believe he can be a Draymond Green type player down the road.

OhCanada-ParticipantOne and done, lottery pick. I view him as a shorter Danny Granger. He’s an intense player, he’s got a lot of dog in him. He should be a very versatile defender and a good piece offensively especially if his ball handling improves. Whether he gets big minutes or not is a question under Izzo. Seems like the type to stay a couple years but if I’m picking late lotto and he is eligible I pick him up no question.

wonzi_bellsParticipantHe has a similar skill-set to Harrison Barnes but what separates him from Barnes is his high motor. Another thing that I want to believe is that he has a better feel for the game but I don’t know if it’s his high motor that is bleeding into that notion. His ATO ratio and shot selection were pretty bad when looking at his Nike EYBL stats but I feel like I want to give him the benefit of the doubt for some reason.
Nevertheless, I don’t look at Bridges like he’s overly skilled at any one thing but he can be a pretty useful rotation wing in the league with some small-ball capabilities but his 6’9 wingspan hurts him a bit there.
I see him staying at least two seasons at Michigan State though. The next draft is too deep for him to enter to me and he’ll have something to return to at MSU since they’ll probably bring back the freshman in Langford, Winston and Ward and will still have a deep roster with quality upperclassmen in Nairns, McQuaid, Goins and Carter. Just need a shot-blocker (DEYONTA!).
