Putting Markelle Fultz on the list is a joke.  He’s only putting up big numbers because his team sucks.

Ben Simmons was 1st team All-American last year and LSU was garbage.

Are you implying he is currently slotted as a potential top pick because he is putting up empty stats on a shitty team?  Is this a team award?  I was under the impression it was an individual award.  If a guy put up 50, 20 and 20 and his team didn’t win a game that year should be not be considered for All American honors?

I would put Fultz first team ahead of Frank Mason Jr who on the flip side of Fultz is only having success because he is on a good team.

What Fultz is doing as a freshman is quite remarkable whether his team is good or not.  He’s scoring in bunches at a very efficient rate, which should not be possible considering his teammates.  He is rebounding and assisting at an elite level for a college PG.

His team isnt that bad, he just plays for a pushover incompetent coach.. He dominates the ball and barely gets his teammates involved..  He’ll hit guys when he’s getting doubled or use them as pressure release. Its creating a team thats codependent on what Fultz does.. (Stand around and wait for the ball) so its creating inefficient offense from his teammates.. Hes a great offensive talent absolute weapon in the PnR and transition.. Hes not as big as Harden,Rose and Russell, Hes a bit of a Runt looks small out there in College.. I truly believe he will struggle with the strength and footspeed of the leagues forwards/centers.. I also noticed he loves to lower his shoulder into players he does this quite a bit.. His outside shooting will be able to translate to the league.. I still think he lacks the strength and size to get away with the way he plays in college in the league, hes just not big enough.. Hes getting compared to Harden but Harden has so much more strength.

I do believe Fultz is extremely talented and definitely should be in consideration for the top pick with how hes performed individually in college.. Its easy to evaluate a player on what hes doing in college, the real question is does some of his skillsets translate to the league, I still question that fact.

Dennis Smith Jr. not even third team? There is zero chance that happens.

I know he doesn’t play in a power conference but Marcus Keene is currently on pace to become the first player to average over 30 a game in division 1 in over 20 years. If he keeps putting up the stats he is putting up, and western Michigan reaches the tournament, it would be difficult to not include him on at least one of the teams.
