Where do the Miami Heat go from here? I’m going to make a list of players Miami should target in free agency to get better and get back to be a threat in the East.

Eric Bledsoe/ Emeka Okafor/ Ed Davis: The Heat should target the combination of these three players They can get Eric Bledsoe as there building block player for the future and build directly around him ( I know he’s a restricted free agent Suns fans but he still a free agent and they might let him walk ). Emeka Okafor can be got as a steal he’s a great defensive Center and the last time he played he help Washington to have the second best defense in the league and a top 5 rebounding team. He probably would take a short prove it type deal because he messed the whole season. ( I’m a Wizards fan and hope he would return to Washington though ).Ed Davis is also a steal in free agency if he get picked at the right price. He a good young talent and he can rebound the ball and should excel at playing a fast pace style of ball instead of a slow half court style of ball a la Memphis. I’m not saying they can get them or will get them but this is a combination of players that can make them a serious title contender in the East. Next hear I can see Chris Bosh as a top flight player and score 23 points per game and about 12 rebounds per game. Line-up PG: Eric Bledsoe, SG: Dwyane Wade, SF: Danny Granger, PF: Chris Bosh, C: Emeka Okafo, BENCH: Shabazz Napier, James Ennis, Ed Davis, Josh McRoberts, Norris Cole, Udonis Haslem,  and some solid role players.

You can also change the Eric Bledsoe signing with a Luol Deng signing and still he competitive and challenge in the East.

But I would take the Eric Bledsoe combination so they would have a building block and a chance to compete in the East.

    Thoughts. ….

I like them signing Emeka Okafor. This would allow Bosh to slide back to his natural position. I think getting a decent starting Centre is key. To be competitive Bosh needs to be the no 1 guy and option and that cannot happen if he is forced to play the 5.
