Memphis may very well take rubio, read this

http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/blog/ball_dont_lie/post/Suicide-lines-Grizzl...

Huh. Rubio may after all go the grizzlies...like i've been preaching. There's no confirmation that rubio doesn't want to play in memphis. and there's also no confirmation that memphis will take rubio.

but after lookin at this article, i think they may very well just take rubio and trade him.

' Wallace said Wednesday. 'We wouldn't have taken a 10-hour flight to Spain if we didn't have interest in him.' "

enough of the rumors please.

they may have interest in

they may have interest in him but here's my three questions

A- Who are really targeting then?

B- do u think your gonna get fall value for him?

C- as a grizz fan what would you say if they took Rubio and traded him for Thabeet?

opinion to knicksboy34's questions

my opinion to your questions.

a - no one knows exactly what they're targeting. rubio isn't needed and neither is thabeet. so then again, trade.

b -Yes. memphis could take the best offer given. there will be desperate teams on draft night. quiet desperate teams as well.

c - What else did we get with thabeet? a powerfoward? more wing help? more future picks?

my questions for you.

a - would it be best to select rubio and field the best offers?

b - why would memphis waste a pick (drafting a non-team-need and KEEP IT- rubio-thabeet)?

c- What do the grizzlies do with conely if rubio has absolutely no problem playing in memphis afterall and memphis selects and keeps him?

Memphis may have interest in

Memphis may have interest in Rubio, but not to keep him.
Memphis wants to get as many key pieces that will help them become a winning team again.

I don't know if they can win with a young trio of Conley/Mayo/Gay

So what are they going to do?

Has Rubio worked out with Memphis? or spoke with them? Hes only gone to the Kings and has interest in the Knicks

A- Yes...it's a high risk

A- Yes...it's a high risk though...what if they dont wanna add a PF in a deal and just wanna do a pick swap?

B-I dont know...I believe they are high on Thabeet.

C-Probably shift Conley to the bench

thanks

i don't believe they're as high on thabeet as everybody is making them out to be. I can only see thabeet being drafted to be traded to boston or houston...or other takers that have been pretty quiet. He doesn't fit memphis' needs and there's too big of a hole at PF to draft thabeet. either they take thabeet and trade, or take rubio and trade him for a powerfoward and pick, or they take rubio and trade conely for (powerfoward) or wing help, picks...

memphis had the second lowest attendence last season due to lack of wins and lack of excitment. if they either brought rubio and kept him ( fans = money ) or they traded rubio for some team needs ( good player(s) ), the attendence would then go up. ATTENDENCE is going to play a big part on whether heisly will spend money for a star.
