MCW the top PG?
I'm a big fan of this game as his skill level and size is intriguing. I have two concerns though: his Kevin Martin like frame and his age(21 for a sophomore is pretty damn old).
Reminds of Brandon Roy, SG that handles and passes the ball at an elite level, can score too with a smooth offensive game.
But so impressed, i saw this guy as a scorer coming out of HS? I recall him tearing up the peach jame a few years back. If he can get his scoring up to say 15ppg hed easily be the best pg/sg statistically.
Brings back memories of Shaun
Livingston or how he couldve been
I'm a Syracuse student. Before he even played his first game, he was already my favorite player on the team based on what I had seen on YouTube. The guy just has a feel for the game that I haven't seen out of a college player that I can remember. It's tough to really describe, but he just plays the game in a way that I feel like it can't really be measured by statistics. It seems like he's always doing the right things and he's always in the right position. He's seemingly there in good position for every rebound. It seems like every time he makes a bad pass and turns it over, he steals it right back within a couple seconds to make up for it. It seems like he always makes the defender do what he wants them to do and then gets past them with ease despite not being an elite athlete or an elite ball-handler.
I think he's going to end up easily being the best player to come out of Syracuse since Carmelo, and I'm planning on buying an MCW jersey and going to one of the games early to get his autograph and get it framed for my collection when I get older.
He's just an incredibly special player in my opinion and I can't wait to see what he makes of himself in the NBA.

He could be a walking triple double ! I mean its unfair not to be in the consideration of a top5 pick or at least a lottery ! One of my favorite talent in this year draft
so does everyone think he will definitely be gone after this year?
The announcer really gave a shout-out to this site? I wish there was audio of that.
I feel like announcers use this website, as well as scouts and Chad Ford among others. lol. i've been thinking that.

Michael Carter-Williams put up 15 points, 16 assists, 5 steals, 4 blocks, and 3 rebounds tonight against Monmouth. Obviously Monmouth is not great competition, but MCW has been stuffing the stat book through the first eight games.
He's averaging: 12.4 points, 10.4 assists, 5.6 Rebounds, 3.9 Turnovers, 3.9 Steals, 1 Block on 47% FG%, 78 FT%, 22% 3PT%, and an A:T Ratio of 2.67.
The turnovers could go down a bit, and his 3 point shot needs to improve, though he did shoot 39% from three last season, and is starting to hit his groove from deep after a rough 1-15 start to the season from behind the arc.
I'm a Syracuse fan, but he's one of the more intriguing prospects. A 6'6 PG averaging a double-double, and leading Division I basketball in assists. He has to at the very least be in the conversation for top PG of the 2013 draft prospects. Of the top five PG prospects in Smart, McCollum, Carter-Williams, Brown, and Caanan, I think the only one that could top MCW in draft position come June is Marcus Smart. I realize McCollum is getting comparison to Lillard, but that's mainly just because of his small school. I see McCollum more as a 6th man off the bench, while MCW could be a starter.
Who do you think are the top 5 PG prospects, and who is the best?
And on a side note, the announcer during the Syracuse and Monmouth game gave a shout out to this website. First time I ever heard a commentator do that.
