DolanCareParticipantA much better game to watch compared to the historic brick fest that was Warriors vs. Wizards.
I was looking forward to watching McLemore. Unfortunately, he had a bad night. He struggled to get his shot down despite having set plays run for him almost a dozen times. But he was effective in getting open, using screen screens and running the floor in transition. So while it was a disappointing opener, I’m confident he’ll find his center in the upcoming SL matches.
The surprise for me was Gal Mekel – the Israeli point guard. He had a few unnecessary flashy passes, which was kind of annoying. But he undoubtedly pressured the defense, and got his bigs involved. Not sure if Dallas will be able to accommodate another PG, but someone should sign him soon. He reminds me of a Pablo Prigioni with upside.

ryjasParticipantIt wasn’t bad night for Bmack. It was very godd defense from Ledo. I tell ya. There were few highlights showing that every bmack’s shot was chalenged by Ledo;)

providencefriars1ParticipantI am the biggest Ledo fan there is and you cant say McLemore wasn’t off his game. Ledo didn’t challenge the last shot by McLemore. He altered a few and blocked one jumper but it was mostly a cold McLemore. He was 4/24 ish including two wide open fast break dunks.

starpyParticipantI was really impressed by Ledo- Guy went 4-5 from field with a couple tough buckets, good form jump shot with NBA range, was a willing and smart passer and his defense on McLemore was more or less stifling.
Ray McCallum was also really solid tonight, played real tough D that showed with 3 steals and 2 blocks, did a solid job setting up teammates and running the team, and his handles along with his drives to the basket were fantastic got the crowd in the game and it looked great. 11,8,4,2,3 is a pretty solid base stat line.0 - Posted on: Sat, 07/13/2013 - 9:40pm #820129
