What are the chances of Matthew Dellavadova from st Mary’s getting drafted this year? He has been lighting it up recently from three and also creating a lot of chances for his team.

He is tough as nails and has great size to be a great back up pg in the nba. Obviously has a lot to work on, but he’ll be representing Australia at the Olympics this year which will give him some great experience.

With patty mills being drafted out of SMC and  becoming a fairly good back up pg for Portland (although now having a lot of trouble getting out of his Chinese teams contract to come back to the MBA) I believe Dellavadova is a better shooter and stronger scorer which is a great asset to have. Hopefully he can lead the Gaels into march and have some success!!

I would say he wont get drafted this year, but he is an excellent player on a great St Mary’s team. He is only a Junior so he could definitely get selected in 2013

He can shoot it, but he generally struggles badly when he faces an athletic and/or lengthy matchup from what I’ve noticed.

If he is drafted he could fill the gap left by Sam Cassel as the ugliest man in the league lol

Dellavadova reminds me of former Gonzga player Matt Boldin…He has Outstanding shooting ability, toughness and he makes few mistakes, that will get him some invites….

Raise your hands if you thought Chris Quinn would become a nba player!!
