llperezHow did this guy go undrafted and does he make it on an NBA team? Thomas was key player for lakers summer league. He is a rookie out of Iowa state. 6-4 sg with decent athleticism and handle. But his shooting is where he excels. The last 5 Vegas games once Ingram and Hart got shut down and they started giving Thomas minutes he averaged 15ppg on 69fg% and went 17/24 from three for 71% from down town. Dude is a jj redick clone, hope somebody signs him if he doesn’t make lakers.

Dazzling Dunks and Basketball BloopersParticipantI knew Thomas was a good shooter coming out of Iowa St. but he literally just had an out of body experience in summer league. He probably at least earned himself an invite to training camp somewhere next season. Whether he can actually stick in the NBA I’m not sure, considering that level of shooting is almost certainly unsustainable. His handle is suspect and he may be physically overmatched against NBA wings.
