lisergxParticipantI feel like he will be a late bloomer, as the NCAA tourney continues I have a feeling his stock will rise dramatically. He has the ability with his speed, ballhandling, passing, slashing ability and athletic ability. He could have a tourney outburst similar to another wildcat PG by the name of Brandon Knight, who was formerly a mid-late draft pick before the tourney and then was projected to go as high as number 3.

uknationParticipantHe still needs another year but would go first round if he decided to stay. No one can stay in front of him and his decision making and game has gotten better as the season has gone on (told some on here to be patient because Cal develops his pg during the season). Another example that Cal helps top players get better

Lotto StudParticipantHe is good as GONE. That performance was a showcase performance.
Did you not see that POWER dunk in the lane!?0 - Posted on: Sun, 03/18/2012 - 5:55am #648566
B FreeParticipantYea Lawton is right I was thinking the same thing after that game his stock is at an all time high and with maybe even just one more good game he is leaving, let alone a finals run.

lisergxParticipantYea i agree with you guys i mean he was the top point guard in his recruiting class for a reason right! I really like him for my Utah jazz, he sort of reminds me of a more athletic Tony Parker.

Taylor Gang MikeParticipanthe will be the first PG taken, its the Kentucky Pg syndrome, he has to much potential. Ryan Harrow will be next up next year

WrecklessParticipantI swear I do not get this forum. Teague has a bad game you guys say he shouldn’t be picked in the lottery, he has a good game and all of a sudden he should be a top 10. Nonetheless, I cant see NOH or POR passing up on him, maybe even Utah as well, especially since there is a lack of PG prospects in this draft..

FastAndFuriousParticipantI’ve been saying it all along, he wont slip, his resume is tooooo good, and yesterday just stamped it.
His handle is sick, his quickness is top notch,he is fast in the open court, and the dunk yesterday was off two steps with no dribble at 6’1!
Add all that in with a 6’1 frame carrying 189 pounds you got yourself a lottery pick.

Lotto StudParticipantI just hope he does not fall to a team, who does not run. A half court set will kill his potential.

mosdefParticipantthis years draft stinks at PG, thus Teague will probably rise just cuz his draft colleagues arent that good of a prospect

FastAndFuriousParticipantI mean Damian Lillard is a strong candidate, I think Kendall Marshall is as well.
But Teague’s full game was on display last night and honestly had he played like that the entire season he’d be a top 10-12 pick.
I just think athletically he is in a different category than the PG’s in college.

surveParticipantI just think that scouts are looking at his ability to run a team. They could care less about his scoring because they know that is something he will be able to do. So just because he scored 24 points doesnt mean anything. His stock is the same as it has ever been. Everyone should know he can score, he just doesnt have to with the players he has around him. I would like to see him come back, but if he leaves, he still will be the 1st PG that teams will take a chance on because of his potential.

Tobe BryantParticipantCan someone post a link of the dunk please?

Bmore_DCParticipantTeague is a beast…he will go in the lottery just based off potential alone…
stop over-rating college, it doesnt mean everything (ask Daniel Orton)

uknationParticipantI don’t see a half court set killing his potential. UK actually runs more half court sets and he looks good playing in it. It helps his stock that he’s able to do that since they know he can run full court
Im with you@the poster who said one minute people on here are killing him the next they love him. Bandwagon guys on here, you’ll get used to it

I been praising him from DAY 1 before the Kabongo and Wroten hype. Check all Teague archives!

PulseGlazerParticipantHe’s not as good as his brother, who took years to develop himself. Late first-round that’s fine. Lotto? That gets a GM fired.

MattHoopsParticipantIowa State does not have an NBA guard on their roster, but he still impressed…This kid has so much potential. Some of these kids like Teague, Terrance Jones, and Perry Jones III could really make this draft special if they live up to their potential. I agree with the poster who said that Teague would be a great pick for the Jazz at number 10. I think this kid could be a steal.

FastAndFuriousParticipantHe is not as good as Jeff I agree, Jeff was a BEAST at Wake Forest.
Regarldess of who Iowa State had on their team, Teague came up HUGE, and lets be honest no guard in college can stay in front of him, so it really doesn’t matter whether its Pierre Jackson or Brady Heslip.
