had a huge game against Maryland last night with 25 and 7 assists, although he did have 5 turnovers.  He is averaging about 35 minutes a game for Roy Williams which is the most minutes for Roy Williams since Raymond Felton averaged 34 a game.  He has gotten into great shape, gotten stronger and is a completely indispensable piece for the Heels going forward.  When he plays well, UNC is a tough team to beat.  He really struggled early in ACC play which is a main reason why UNC started 1-4 in the conference.  He had a really nice athletic reverse lay-up drive and finish on the baseline.  He isn’t a stud athlete but is sneaky athletic and has good quickness and change of pace.  If he puts on another 10-15 pounds of muscle, he could be an absolute stud next year and perhaps an all-american candidate.  What are his projections for the next level?

his projections are good….so good that I dont know if he will return next year.  I can see him moving up the board this year.  I think his biggest issues is he has to improve his PG skills and distribution.  he looks more like a score first PG and he needs to balance that a bit.  other than that…he has everything else.  good quickness, shooting ability, IQ, rush hour handle.   he would be best served to follow a Tony Parker type mold.   he looks like a high IQ player who is an average athlete but could excel in PnR game due to his shooting ability.

Yeah, that worries me.  I think he could go, but I don’t think he’s that type of person.  He really needs to get stronger.  He could be a first rounder no doubt, but I think he sticks around another year and leaves after next year.

I haven’t seen too much of Paige play, but what I did see reminded me of Mike Conley when he was at Ohio State. Maybe I am way off here collectively, but like I said I have only seen 2 or 3 games.

I believe he is a 1st rounder, but needs to develop more he is only a sophomore. Like TarHeelRaven said he needds to get stronger. He can score and is a great playmaker.  Will be exciting to watch him play Duke and ACC Tournament play!
