NBAProspectFan1ParticipantI saw this kid during the summer and came off amazed. I honestly think he’s the next Michael Beasley with a good attitude. He’s from the DC area and is a beast.
Here’s his ESPN profile and highlight reel. Anyone else heard about him?

GoJOSH HUESTISParticipantGood player. A couple inches shorter and lighter than Beasy though

NBAProspectFan1ParticipantHe’s only 16 years old. Don’t you think he’ll shoot up to 6-8?

GoJOSH HUESTISParticipantIt’s possibly. Not very likely. Right now he’s a legit 6’5. It’s not common for a 16 year old to grow three more inches Possible but not likely. Hope he does though. I like his game

ChewyParticipantHe has a really good looking shot. Looks like he plays like a PF instead of a wing (because mixtapes are so reliable when looking at a player lol).
At 6’6 it is too early to talk about pro asperations. NBA talk is more suited for HS kids that are physically men already like Drummond, Wiggins, Bazz ect. I think it would make more sense to talk about how he will translate to college first.
He looks like a player that is fun to watch though.

GoJOSH HUESTISParticipantAgreed. He’s good but hasn’t shown to be Beasy good who was much better at the same age. And taller

NBAProspectFan1ParticipantThis kid was the leading scorer as a freshman for Paul VI which is a very good hs team. I don’t know that Beasley could have matched that as a freshman.

WizardofOzParticipantHis teammate Stan Robinson is a beast too.

GoJOSH HUESTISParticipantThere are plenty of players who have out scored Beasley as a freshman in H.S. doesn’t mean they were better at the time. I’m sure you have seen teams where the leading scorer doesn’t look as good game wise or physically as the third leading scorer. Durant nor Lebron lead their team in scoring as freshmen either. Only issue I have with him is will he get taller because his game is strictly PF right now and that is a detergent since he’s only 6’5. I really hope he grows because right now he’s a lower level Nate James

NBAProspectFan1ParticipantAnyone know where this kid is leaning for college?

GoJOSH HUESTISParticipantNot sure where he’s leaning but he has some offers from low high majors like Miami and two high majors in Georgetown,Virgina and N.C State. As I write this I realize who he plays a lot like, he plays like the undersized PF for Gonzaga High School who was the same height and size at the same age
