I’ve noticed he gets no love on this website and have seen him play and he looks terrific. The only disscrimination i think people have against him is he plays for Michigan (traditionally not a great team) but with wins over Duke and UCLA the team thing cant be used to put him down right now. hes got the size, skill set, athleticsm and stats to prove it. Just wondering why he’s not in any of the mock drafts?

yea i have been wondering the same thing he isnt in the type of system that really lets him show all of his skills but is still doing really well and putting up big numbers. I think with the size and skills he has he should be a easy 1st round draft pick

He does have a solid game, and probably should be in the first round of one of the mocks. I mean, the only thing that really stands out is his lack of bulk, weighing only 180 lbs. at 6′ 5”, but that’s really not that much of an issue for a guard. His height (if accurate) actually helps his stock if anything.

I think it’s because of his weight. draftexpress has him listed at 170 lbs. In comparison James Harden is 48lbs heavier and even Stephen Curry who’s 2 inches shorter and is criticized for being thin is 15lbs heavier. He’d get pushed around by stronger defenders and I don’t know how much more muscle his frame could take. But I like his game and if he declares he’ll get a look by teams late in the first round looking for an offensive punch off the bench.

Manny Harris may be rail thin, but so is a lot other NBA players, some in which still got drafted very high or became solid or even great players without ever bulking up ala Reggie Miller, Allen Iverson, Richard Hamilton, and Jamal Crawford. Speaking of Jamal Crawford, Manny Harris reminds me a lot of the former Michigan Wolverine. There both scrawny 6’5 shooting guards, that has a knack for scoring, slick ball handling moves, and can run some point if neccessary. I think Manny Harris is going to be a better pro than Crawford though, because Crawford had very little years of playing oragnized basketball before turining pro after one year of college basketball, while Harris game is a little more disciplined.
