r377ParticipantMalik Beasley & Jaron Blossomgame currently sit 24th and 26th in the mock. I have some interest in both these two prospects.
What are peoples thoughts on these two ?

Bankroll PJParticipantBoth great athletes and great competitors with length that worked hard to get on the NBA radar. Neither came into college with a ton of hype, they just outwork people. I think both have a shot at the 1st round.
Blossomgame passes the eye test as a NBA small forward at 6’7 220. He has improved his game every while taking on a bigger role on the team each year as well. I can’t think of a player comparison for him but I think he’s a guy that can play in the league if his 3 pt shooting translates to the NBA 3 pt line. Everything else that you would want in a small forward he has (toughness, length, athleticism, rebounding ability, finishing ability). I think it’s more likely that he’ll be a 2nd round pick but this guys looks like a pro.
While Dwayne Bacon continues to get all the hype, Beasley continues to be the team’s best scorer and defender. He’s always in attack mode, yet he never forces anything and scores from all three areas. He may lack the size for a prototypical 2 guard as he’s just 6’4 185, but he has a good frame and the toughness and athleticism to make up for it. He compares to a more athletic Arron Afflalo or a smaller Jimmy Butler. I think he could be a steal in the late first round of this year or next year’s draft.

NYFinest12ParticipantThis is only for Beasley as I havent watched any Clemson games to speak on Blossomgame. Beasley is the player that I like the most out of the trio of draft prospects at Florida State. He is the straw that stirs the drink for them. I think he is a player that can play on or off the ball. I think he hasnt been given ball handling duties too much but I think he has the ability to be a solid combo guard in the NBA. I think in the mold of someone like Brandon Knight where he will always be able to score and playmake for him and his teamates.

BallerScriptParticipantI feel like Beasley is a bit raw fundamentally at this stage but I expect him to stay another year and be very much improved and turn out to be a top pick

AdamJCallejaParticipantBeasley’s physical attributes are almost identical to Archie Goodwin, but he’s a far better shooter and a much more consistent finisher at the rim.
