nick5354ParticipantMy bold prediction is GSW to finish top 3 in the West.
I really love what they have going on. If Curry, Lee and Bogut can keep on the court I can see great all round play from this unit.
Iggy is able to play many different positions and will give a much needed bull dog defensive pressure from the first tip.
I also think the underrated signing for them is getting Speights. As a Cavs man, he surprised me and I fell in love with him. He has a nice shot and a monster of a men. Very nice bench player to help out Lee and Bogut.
I cannot help but love Mark Jackson too.
They will also have a great 6th man. at this stage I am not sure Jackson has commited 100% to who that will be but it looks to either be Thompson or Barnes. Either way they would both provide a lot off the bench.
Although it will be though will Houston more than likely to jump into the top 3. Will be a fight with OKC, GSW, SA, LAC, DEN and MEM fighting it out.

Pistol Pete. The PelicanParticipantRoyce White plays at least 50 games, and starts to be productive by late January, early February.
Brandon Jennings changes his play slightly and becomes a top 10 point guard and Detroit makes the playoffs.Andrea Bargnani will be a successful “3” in New York. He spreads the floor while Carmelo plays his game.
Last one, Evan Turner averages 20 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists.

The Nets will not live up to the expectations, due to the age factor.

Spurs eliminate the WCF Rockets
Spurs eliminate the pacers in 5 games and are the champions

Kinguy11Participant-Russell Westbrook will return and play competently, but not at hi previous All-Star level.
-Reggie Jackson will win MIP due to Westbrook playing limited minutes whilst returning from his injury.
-Kevin Durant will win MVP due to having to carrying a larger load with Westbrook not on top form.
-Steven Adams will start at least half the games he plays and be named to the All Rookie Second Team.-The Warriors will only just make the playoffs. However, they’ll win their first matchup to make it to the second round of the playoffs.
-Iggy will be an All-Star.-The Wizards will be a top 6 team in the East, with either Beal or Wall making the All Star game.
-The Spurs two Aussies, Patrick Mills and Aron Baynes, will find their way into the rotation for a decent chunk of the season.0 - Posted on: Sun, 10/20/2013 - 6:44pm #844472

machu46ParticipantMy only bold prediction will be in regards to my Bucks:
I think Ersan Ilyasova will average 18 and 9 per game this year. This might seem bold to a lot of people because he only averaged 13 and 7 last year, but he put up almost 20 and 10 per 36 minutes after the all-star break last year, so I don’t think it’s out of the realm of possibility that he puts together a complete season and makes the big man trio of Larry Sanders, Ilyasova, and Henson look like one of the better big men trios in the league.

TallmanNYCParticipantBold Prediction – Camilo goes into shooting slump, shoots worst percentage of his career, but still average 26 points per game. Stat is unable to play and when he does gives up a ton of points. Bargs is played at PF and Center resulting in Knicks completely unable to rebound while he is on court. Knicks season becomes serious train wreck. Melo leaving becomes real possibility distracting everyone. Team fails to make playoffs.

B-ball fanParticipantThe Pelicans will make the playoffs and Anthony Davis will be the MIP. Anthony Morrow will turn out to be a surprisingly good acquisition.
The Heat will have the best win-loss record in the league, but the Bulls will be a close second. The Bulls will be unable to make it further in the playoffs, though, losing to the Nets in the second round.
Victor Oladipo will win ROY.
Gordon Hayward and Enes Kanter will each average at least 18 ppg, although it won’t translate into many wins.
The Thunder will make the Finals, but lose to the Heat.
Giannis Antetokounmpo will make the cover of Sports Illustrated at some point during the course of the season.
Reggie Jackson will average 16 ppg in Russell Westbrook’s absence during the regular season.
Eric Bledsoe will average 12 ppg on 41% shooting, slowing down the hype train slightly.
Kevin Durant will win the scoring title and the MVP award, keeping the Thunder afloat until Russell Westbrook returns.

scootover7ParticipantBold Predictions here are mine
1) Cleveland and Detroit will get the final two Eastern Conference Playoff slots. I wanted to put Washington in place of Detroit but I feel that Chauncey Billups will be a big help to the Pistons squad.
2) Ben McLemore will win Rookie of the year in spite being on a team that won’t make the playoffs.
3) Los Angeles Clippers to me now are a two seed in the Western Conference. They however though won’t go far because they lack solid backup at the power forward and center positions.
4) With the injury to Russell Westbrook, I think that the Golden State Warriors will be a 3 seed and the Thunder moves to 4 seed. While Kevin Durant is good sometimes it’s hard for Batman to be without Robin.
5) The top five worst teams to me in the NBA will be these 1) Philadelphia 2) Orlando 3) Utah 4) Phoenix and 5) Sacramento (I was tempted to go with Charlotte here but, I think that Charlotte will improve with the signing of Al Jefferson.

XYRYXParticipantThe Thunder will start really bad into this season beeing just a little better that 50/50 in December. KD will take that personally and starts to play Kobe ball averaging 34 points, 8 and 5 coming All Star break. Russ needs a little more time to shake off the rust but will be fine at the end of the year. Ibaka showes some post moves and better all round round defense, Reggie Jackson plays like a vet netting 16/4/6/1.5. Adams proves the doubters wrong an is All Rookie 2nd.
If Olynik stays healthy, he will finish top 3. people seem to forget how incredible efficient he is offensively.
Kawhi will be most improved and will have similar if not better numbers than Paul George next year.
One team in the east with playoff aspirations takes a huge hit from the injury bug and lands a top 5 pick in the draft. This team to me right now is Milwaukee.
Dallas will have a better record than LAL, Memphis and Portland.
