The Magic Point Guard Situation

If the Magic don't land the #1 pick, to select Ben Mclemore, they should draft Trey Burke....If Burke is off the board, I feel they should swing a deal with the Clippers, for Eric Bledsoe

maybe

Maybe they should trade down. Maybe to 4 or 5th. They could probably get another pick with it.

Bledsoe, The Magic

I have a feeling that the Magic will have the money he will want and that he should earn in his next contract.

I wonder if the Magic get the

I wonder if the Magic get the first pick and take McLemore, if they'll decide to trade Aaron Afflalo for a point guard. Obviously they're going for a youth movement and I wonder if Afflalo is part of their plans. If not they could get their point guard for the future for him.

They should draft Nerlens

They should draft Nerlens Noel. He has the highest potential in this draft. They are good at the 2,3, 5 spot. They should be able to sign a point guard as good as Burke that is a free agent.

I think the Magic should take

I think the Magic should take Broke regardless of position. Maybe they take Noel or McLemore and trade for Broke and extra picks like they did with Webber/ Hardaway back in the day. He would have a great guy to mentor him in Nelson, and if they are able to snag Wiggins/ Parker next year they should be set for a long time with the expected development of Harkless and Nicholson.

If they draft Nerlens he will

If they draft Nerlens he will be out for who knows how long, so they will still be bad. Maybe bad enough to get the #1 pick again next year and get Wiggins...that is if Toronto doesn't get the #1 pick in 2014

If Toronto gets the #1 pick

If Toronto gets the #1 pick next year then I will be 100% convinced the lottery is rigged.

Lottery

I already feel that the lottery is rigged...But the Raptors are not going to get the number one pick next year because they are going to be better next year...they have a chance to push for that eight seed next year...

If you are Orlando would you

If you are Orlando would you trade your draft pick for Bledsoe? I mean we can see he has potential at next level and Burke is unproven. If they did get McElmore he will be behind Afflalo on depth chart.

If it isn't top 2 pick to take McElmore I think the Clippers would be more than happy to take a guy like Oladipo or Porter. As Butler and Billups are aging.

Orlando team would be:
Bledsoe
Afflalo
Harkless
Harris
Vucevic
and they still have Nicholson.

If they get 1, Take Ben

If they get 1, Take Ben Mac... Then trade Afflalo and a 2nd to Clippers for Bledsoe

If not 1, then they should take Burke

I just don't see Orlando

I just don't see Orlando drafting Nerlens Noel at the #1 spot when Ben McLemore and Trey Burke seem more like logical options. If they drafted Noel, he wouldn't be starting over Big Baby (still productive) nor Vucevic (probably the best player with the highest PER on the team).

Jameer Nelson is still productive, but I feel he's only got a couple years left of decent productivity. Afflalo is the guy they might want to get rid of; he has the worst PER of the starters and Ben McLemore could probably pick up his weight of 16-3-3 in his rookie year.

I say Ben McLemore if #1

If #2, Burke.

If #3 with Burke gone, trade down or grab Noel and try to deal him for someone like Bledsoe.

How do we know Ben McLemore

How do we know Ben McLemore is that much better than Aaron Afflao. Aaron Afflao is a solid shooting guard right now. Noel gives them a legit 4 man down the road who has a defensive presence and high potential. On defense he could give them a lot of what Howard did except he will not be physical. There are a ton of young point guards that will be available this year in F.A.. There is no need to sell yourself short in a potentially weak draft. Trey Burke would be a solid pick up though if they don't get the first pick unless they can trade that pick for a Bledsoe or whatever young point guard is out there.

I'm not saying Ben McLemore

I'm not saying Ben McLemore is better than Aaron Afflalo, only that Afflalo looks to be on the decline as he is below the average for player efficiency, so instead of trying to take a gamble on a big guy who might be sitting the bench due to injury while other guys like Nicolson, Big Baby, and Vecevic are in the post, it might be a good idea to replace Afflalo with someone who is capable of picking up his slack and actually will get better over time.

Tony wroten

If greivis Vasquez can average 14/9/5 with all the flaws in his game, I'm sure Wroten, whose more athletic and has better vision and a better scorer, can give u 15 or 16/9/5
And if the Magic get Ben McLemore. That backcourt for the next decade>>>>>>
