bieberfanParticipantDude is a great player…ive heard people say he cant play small forward but after seeing him last night againt UNC i believe he can. His shot was a thing to see, he was hitting fade aways off the dribble over a 7ft tyler zeller. His handles looked alot better then i expected. What do you guys think of him?…Oh and by the way alot of players for nevada were clutch up until the last few minutes so im not trying to give him all the credit for the close game.

SlimParticipantI think he should declare this year while his stock is high 😀
I dont know what teams would draft him but he could be good to great
sort of like what we all thought Morrison would be hopefully he will get drafted to a playoff teamso he can be on the second unit and brought along slowly,
he is a nice shooter for 6’8 and left handed is a plus

SlimParticipantI like the Chris Mullin comparison both left handed finesse players, but Chris was a WEE BIT more nimble at 6’7
maybe a bulked up Adam Morrison at 6’8

What does Luke Babbit have in common with Adam Morrison and Chris Mullin? Here we go again with comparing white guys only to other white players. Chris Mullin was one of the greatest shooters in NCAA history. I don’t think Luke Babbitt, who shot 5 a miserable for 18 against NC, comes close to qualifying at that level.
However, on the plus side Babitt had 11 rebounds which is something that wasn’t part of Mullin’s game. Hence, another reason why they have nothing in common.
As for Adam Morrison, please …………….
Hey guys, let’s see if you can come up with players who have more in common with Babbitt other than the fact that they’re white. This is just like the Jon Scheyer thread who is being compared with Jason Kapono, Kirk Hinrich, and Nick Calathes, even though they have very little in common.
shaqfan88 wrote about Babbitt, “His shot was a thing to see”. Yeah, on those rare occasions when it went in the basket. Come on shaqfan88, the guy shot around 27% for the game, why were you impressed?

JNixonParticipantHe is a player I have never seen play before. I’ll watch out for him this season. Wasn’t he a McDonald’s All-American?

PureshooterParticipantI think Babbitt is pretty good, but Rodney Rogers was an animal. At the same time, he’s far stronger and more physical than Morrison with the ability to go to the post. I was actually thinking of someone like Anthony Mason. A decent athlete who was physical and had a nice touch. Babbitt has better range though.
