burgessfourParticipantLove to see some opinions on the final pieces of the trade. We’ve all seen Wiggins, Bennett and a 2015 1st for Love. But will the Sixers be involved. I’ve seen on hoopshype the NBA would reject a Bennett for 2 round pick from the Sixers because it would be an obvious salary dump (I think it was Tom Moore). I’ve also seen that Bennett can not be traded with another player for 60 days after He is traded to Minn. So, if they want to move Bennett and others to the Sixers it makes the most sense to do a 3 team trade later this month. Thoughts ?

220ParticipantI’ve never seen the NBA stop a trade that’s an obvious salary dump not even when the Suns traded Kurt Thomas and two first round pick to the Sonics for a second round pick and a trade exception.

TyroberParticipantThe league vetoed the Chris Paul because the NBA owned a franchise and basically it got turned down by the owner. Team dump salaries all the time and there shouldn’t be any reason as to why they can’t. Now I have heard that the league and stop the trade if Love has already agreed to sign an extension, but that is a lot harder to prove and fully expect the deal to go through.
