Lotto StudParticipantWhat does his future hold as a player in a sixers uniform? Jrue Holiday came in & stole his shine so he’s stuck @ being just a role player until he can go 2 a mediocre team, who needs his scoring ability IMO. Lou is another player that has shown flashes of a good player when giving the opportunity to play. He has even said it himself that “he’s not a PG & he will never average 10 dimes”. He also said “he is a player that CAN’T be stopped & @ the same time he can’t stop his opponent, but all he can do is try to contain them.”

ilike.panochasParticipantHe has a career as a player off the bench. He just doesn’t have a true position to be an NBA starter, hes sorta in the same catagory as Leandro Barbosa, both guys are talented but just lacks major qualities to be a starting SG or starting PG.
I want to add, I really wish this guy would have gone to college for atleast a year. He would have learned how to play like a real PG if he played for a big time college coach, he could have gone farther in his career than where he is now, I believe.

Lotto StudParticipantHe was suppose to go to UGA with his H.S. backcourt teammate Mike Mercer. They would’ve been a crazy tandem in the SEC.

Lotto StudParticipantLou & Mike would have complemented each other well, because the chemistry was already there.

JNixonParticipantMercer would’ve played PG and Williams would’ve played the SG. And Mercer would’ve defended SG’s and Williams would’ve guarded PG’s. Mercer was a big-time defender when he played for UGA too. They would’ve been scary in the SEC, but Mercer was too dumb and immature to play for more than 1 year.
Lou Williams is an instant offense player, and he’s probably above average too. He’s not 6th Man of the Year good, but he’s very much an asset off the bench who could fill that role even on a contender if he needed to.
