Now that Boston officially has the #1 pick, I think they should trade it. I like Fultz a lot but Boston doesn’t need a guy that will take 3-4 years to come into his own, especially if they can package him for a Jimmy Butler or Paul George who, combined with their roster and Brad Stevens, can beat the Cavs.

The Lakers are gonna get Lonzo, but I don’t think it’s any lock they get Paul George before next offseason so that could still give the 76ers a good pick. Also none of the Lakers young players are future all stars so they need Lonzo to pan out and for the city to attract a superstar.

The Sixers could’ve used the Lakers pick but at the same time, how many 19 year olds can you roll out on opening night? Sixers are still banking on Embiids health because without him they have no title hopes. Hopefully Simmons lives up to the hype but we won’t know until we see it. I really like Josh Jackson but does Philly really need another guy who can’t shoot?

But it is a reach, SO I think they’ll go with jackson, Simmons cannot score the ball from the outside as weel as jackson, Tatum can score on the high post but with emdib I don’t think they offer  much spacing since Simmons have no outside shot, the knack on Tatum is his inconsistent 3pt shot, they’ll clog the paint, that goes also for jackson

We already knew the NBA was going to put the Lakers in a position to get a top 2 pick. It was alluded to with statements by Walton, Daddy Ball,  and Magic basically saying that it was already decided that Ball would be drafted by L.A.

There is a long history of the NBA "helping" the Lakers to be relevant.  I don’t know why this is a supreme to anyone.

I think Philly will be ok with Jackson. They’ll run, theyll defend and if they play a shooter, Embiid and Saric, 3 outside threats is fine. Simmons makes up the unit obviously.

the Sixers draft for need instead of best available…doesn’t it make sense to address the shooting issue and take Monk? I know he’s not projected that high, but a stud sniper at the 2 spot seems like a big win.

Isaac is BPA with most potential.  Easy call at 3.

Since when is 38% from 3 a player that can’t shoot? He is one percentage point behind Malik Monk… Tatum only shot 34% from 3 but nobody is saying his shot is broken.

Jackson started slow from beyond the arc but once confernce play started he shot 47% from 3…I can’t see how this is a player that can’t shoot? He still needs to work on it obviously but he hit 2 less 3s in his one year college career than Jimmy Butler did in 3 seasons at Marquette.

2018 is the Ben Simmons PG experiment. JJ is the pick because of he’s the best two way player and has the highest ceiling. Sixers already have the shooter of the fure in Turkey. He’ll be here in 2019 so much better to see JJ develop a shot or not than reach for Monk or Tatum with the 3.
