You saying Brown is a combo guard as well? No. He has the size to guard bigger guards because of his size but he is a true point. You don't want him playing off the ball with his shot right now either, could be a slasher though. Leads ACC in assists like dude already said and he is always looking to get others involved. Great first step too, sneaky explosive, always attacking, trying to get to the rim. Can finish big if he gets there, which his speed/athleticism/size/strength allows him to do so often, or he is very willing and smart about dishing it off if help D comes. He reminds me a little of a less intense Gary Payton. That is one that that scares me about him is his drive just as his game seems lackadaisical at times, but tricky because that is his game. Smooth, calm, composed, a lot of hesitations, but then he will hit you with that sneaky explosion. Good defender and anticipates well. I'll take him over a lot of other PG's in this draft.
Watching the NC State/Maryland game and I am reminded why I like Brown so much. I have seen him only 5/6 times this year and I don't understand why he has dropped so much in the draft. Athletic, great size, good passer, defender, also like his effort on the glass. I would not mind the Bulls taking him as a backup for Rose if he did fall that far. I think he can improve his shot over time and needs to work on decision making a bit but I don't understand the fall, he was top 10 before the year started.
This game has been really disappointing overall though.
