Only fellow draftniks can understand how happy I am that Lorenzo Brown is getting some burn in the league. His stop & go style of play coupled with his great playmaking made him a great watch at NC State. It was a strong possibility that his skillset wouldn’t translate to the league, but to his credit he did what he needed to do: worked on his shot.

He doesn’t shoot the 3 that much (has only taken 8 threes since being called up for a 37.5% clip) but if you watch him play he’s still able to keep the defense honest. By being able to keep some spacing he is able to stay on the floor to show off the rest of his abilities. His playmaking has definitely come in handy with Rubio out, but in general he has shown to be an all around efficient offensive player by shooting 48.5% from the floor. This all with averaging only 0.7 TOs.

Lavine and Wiggins have been the focal point of the offense for the past few games with such a depleted roster. But Lorenzo has definitely fit in.
