I don't think the Cavs would agree to this deal. With Bynum's health in qeustion they need varejao for depth and they have no need for Gordon.

New Orleans doesn't have

New Orleans doesn't have there first round pick it goes to the Sixer's unless its top 5. It won't be so there wouldn't even be a guaranteed 2014 pick in the deal.

Plus the Cavs don't want Ben Gordon. Besides Bynum they are trying to build a all-good-guy-locker-room team and B Gordon almost fought his coach last year. Why would they need two Dion Waiters? One that can't shoot and one that can't drive doesn't equal efficiency. I think they got Jack mainly because he actually knows what a good shot is unlike all of the 2012 Cavs, Kyrie included, Varejao excluded.

New Orleans makes off with way to much. For pick in the 2nd round and 2015 first rounder plus a guy that is ridiculously overpaid they get two guys in MKG and Varejao that are in the top 7 for their positions in working hard and rebounding for position.

With all that said, I personally think that Ben Gordon or Eric Gordon could help the Cavs a lot. Eric could help at everything, offense, defense, shooting but his deal is just to big and knees to bad for that much guaranteed. Ben could be a knock down shooter and would be really good if the ball isn't in his hands to force bad shots. With Kyrie/Jack and Bynum throwing to him out of the post he could be a excellent edition in the half court. The Cavs don't have a trade exemption or some throw away salaries so it wouldn't work but I would actually like to see Ben Gordon in a Cavs uni.
