AwardedBallerParticipantHere at NBADraft.net I don’t really think we know each other much or have much fun outside of making fun of Greek prospects and Don McCollum
So, how about we try playing a little game to laugh and get to know each other.
You have to answer the question above you and then ask one of your own.
So i’ll start, Has anyone ever been dunked on or had an array of moves put on them to make them fall in game?

ChewyParticipantin HS Othyus Jeffers knocked me over on one of his drives (I got the steal on my way to the floor but they called a defensive foul on me).
Also, on a lay up attempt Brian Randle (U of Illinois Grad) slapped my floater literally into the 8th row of the stands.
Question: Has anyone been ejected from a game and what was it for?

SuckerpunchParticipantBeen ejected numerous times. (See Basketball Stereotypes post Rage Guy)
Main things were arguing with refs, throwing elbows and mostly for thinking i’m bigger than I really am! Shouldn’t have modelled my game on Metta!Have you ever screwed up a shot massively, banked it in off the glass and claimed you meant it?

teropParticipantYea any shooter will do that occasionally…including myself. My biggest screwed up shot came in a high school game years back. Big city rivalry game with about 10-12 scouts there and my team was pressing. We got the tip back and it came to me. With the whole gym standing up I went in for the tomahawk and blew it massively. Coach pulled me for the rest of the 1st half. Went on to have one of my worst embarrassing games ever….
Anybody ever hooped and held there own against college stars or NBA players??

AwardedBallerParticipantI once played Seth Allen from Maryland at a practice for my HS coaches AAU team, I wouldn’t really say I held my own though. I scored a few garbage baskets and hit two threes, but he embarrassed me with crazy in and out (HE CARRIED HARD BUT HE PLAYS COLLEGE BASKETBALL SO THAT MAKES IT OKAY) that made me jump and land awkwardly on my ankle.
Has anyone ever stolen from a grocery store? lol

Stevenill answer the last 2:
have i ever stolen from a grocery store? not stolen per say.. but any grocery store that gives samples, is where i eat lunch. 😉
and
have i ever held my own against college or NBA players?
ive played against numerous college stars. from d1 to d3. do played pick up against pretty much the entire sacred heart bball team, played against arguably the best d2 AND d3 player in the country, even played the number 12 pick ( i believe) from the nfl draft of 2009.

A Real Canadian MountieParticipantBack when i was 13, i joined an up and coming house league in my neighbourhood. I had some confidence issues in my game which generally lead to me stinking up the court, but my team was solid and we got to the championship game in the league.
I don’t know what it was that did it, but the nervousness i always felt when i stepped on the court was gone for that game. Scored 21 in the game, capped off with a run in the 3rd where i scored 10 points in a minute and a half. Won the championship and got the MVP award for the game. Will always remember that as a big turning point for me as a basketball player.
my question: what was the biggest/most important shot you’ve ever hit in a game?

the I in winParticipanttwo free throws in a tie game with 20 seconds left, could not stock shaking but knocked them both down. I’m a historically bad free throw shooter.
Who’s air balled a free throw in a game? I did it in practice but I’ve seen it done in game several times and one time openly laughed at my brother because he threw one up, this caused the ref, a few players, and a few people in the stands to join me and really sink in the humiliation.

tli232Biggest shot ever was… my first ever basket in boys house league in Toronto. For being a "good" player, I didn’t score for the first 3 or 4 games at all, despite getting plenty of playing time.
I was (still am) a horrendous player on the offensive end. I believe I missed a 5X5 game that first season by scoring 0 buckets in a game (and 1 assist short).

JoeWolf1I did in 7th grade. I was very raw and athletic when I first started playing probably was a 33% FT shooter that year. I airballed the front half a one-and one, lol. I was determined, though and shot 68% by the time I was a senior in HS.
Anyone block a dunk in a game?

AwardedBallerParticipantWell I never directly went to a party with an NBA player due to my age but Kendall Marshall’s dad was my ex’s track coach, so she’s been to Kendall’s house numerous time and has even eaten with him at Buffalo Wild Wings. Pretty cool.
Has anyone here ever lost a fight? lool
