Bruh… Sam Miller, a junior forward for the Dayton Flyers, was allegedly involved a cascading series of incidents this weekend, first at a local bar, then outside of said bar, and finally in a county jailhouse.

As the Dayton Daily News first reported, Miller’s troubles started early Sunday morning at Caddy’s Taphouse in Beavercreek, Ohio. (Per the top Yelp review: “This place is a half step up from your chain sports bars.”) After a bartender told Miller he had been cut off, he allegedly “knocked all the glasses off the bar and pushed her,” according to a police report. Security personnel tossed Miller from the bar, and police were called after Miller allegedly pushed the security officer and had to be restrained. When the cops showed up, he allegedly resisted their attempts to put him in a car and kicked a car door

Miller was charged with disorderly conduct and underage consumption (he’s 20), then taken to Greene County Jail. This was not the end of Miller’s big night. A jailhouse video shows Miller getting into a scuffle with another inmate while tromping around the holding cell in his underwear with his pants puddled around his right foot. According to the report, Miller took a piss in the cell then went and slapped his cellmate after he complained about sharing the cell with a piss-doer. Video shows that it did not end well for Miller, who was charged with misdemeanor assault.

Kid’s 20 years old, so he is gonna make some mistakes.  Still, this is not a good look for the young man.  It is interesting how people behave when they are intoxicated.  The report of his violoent interaction with a bartender, security guards, police, and then finally another detainee, suggests an underlying disregard for authority and ultimately decency as well (urinating on the floor in the holding cell).  Hopefully he will hist the video room and watch himself getting asswhipped by a guy half his size and will think twice about binge drinking… though I doubt it.

Just wondering about the holding cell video though.  What is the deal with these videos of jail interactions being released for general public consumption?  Is there no reasonable right to privacy for folks who are arrested?  I notice that police never quickly release video showing witness intimidation, or police brutality…  they only quickly release video that shows entitled college boys gettting their asses whipped.  Lol.

He had an attitude problem back in highschool too. Hopefully this can be a wake up call for him.
