Darius Miles made 22 three
Darius Miles made 22 three pointers on his entire career, and was a 59% free throw shooter...

Darius Miles?

Darius Miles? I know where you're coming from, but no.

Miles had no defence and was stick thin. Literally only had height and hops.

Also think that Payton is way-off for Smart. Smart doesn't have the speed or court-vision

Julius Randle to Billy Owens?

Julius Randle to Billy Owens? Are you serious?

Owens was a SF with a great handle and passing ability but nowhere near the strength and power of Randle. Randle is a true PF who could never handle the ball on a consistent basis.

Edit: Actually Owens would be a decent comparison for Kyle Anderson

Some of these are good, I

Some of these are good, I like the Shabazz-Mike Bibby comp, but you ruined yourself with the Darius Miles comp.

Someones not a fan of

Someones not a fan of Wiggins.

Also while I'm not sure he'll ever be quite the scorer...I think Embiid is more David Robinson than Duncan. Atleast in build and athleticism.

Smart = Payton

I don't mind this comparison as Smart projects to be a tough defender who gets plenty of steals, and on offense could make his living posting up smaller point guards. Gary Payton is a HOF player though and Smart has a long ways to go.

The torches gotta be passed

The torches gotta be passed on to some generation. Why not this generation.

Joel Embiid - Hakeem Olajuwan

Jabari Parker - Grant Hill / Paul Pierce

Andrew Wiggins - T.Mac

Dante Exum - Penny Hardaway

Julius Randle - originally C.Webb, but now I'd say more like a Derrick Coleman

Marcus Smart - John Starks

Noah Vonleh - Chris Bosch

Shabazz Napier - KJ / Kenny Anderson

Tyler Ennis - Andre Miller

Deandre Daniels - Cedric Cebalos / Boris Diaw

Gary Harris - Hersey Hawkins

Dario Saric - Toni Kukoc

Doug McDermott - Chris Mullin

Mitch McGary - Greg Ostertag

Zach Lavine - Landry Fields

James Young - Nick Young

Zach Lavine to Landry Fields

Zach Lavine to Landry Fields gets my vote as the worse player comparison this draft season.

A 6'5 wiry combo guard with deep range and extreme bounce to a 6'7 burly combo wing known for his off the ball movement and rebounding.

Darius Miles

I actually get the Darius Miles comparison to a degree.. I bet half of you never watched Darius in HS or at least are too young to remember what AAU team he played for and who he played with.. but the guy was very comparable to Wiggins when he was coming out of HS.. pretty much the same size and a Freak Athlete with the same defensive potential and length that could run the floor with the best of them..

Lets not forget Miles was a First Team all Rookie, Yes he dropped off in NBA due to being a serious headcase and extremely low basketball IQ.. but physically the Darius Miles comparison isnt to far off.. mentally Wiggins has a way better basketball IQ

@kidB LMAO T-MAC? Wiggins

@kidB LMAO T-MAC? Wiggins does not have the Offensive Savy T-MAC had.. Hes not nearly the Ball Handler he was either... Tracy McGrady had a great natural feel for the game that you cant teach.. I've watched Wiggins numerous times hes no T-mac Bud.

That's also a good

That's also a good comparison. But I think he's a little more in shape than Z-Bo. If DC isn't a good enough comp., then I'd say he's more like a Antonio Davis.

I read that David Robinson

I read that David Robinson was measured at 7 feet tall for the 1988 Olympics. Probably measured barefoot.

I also read that Ralph Sampson was closer to 7 1/2. Not 7'4.

Embiid is similar to both with some great measurements.

I actually think Jabari is closer to Billy Owens. Similar size and diverse skill set. What about Billy Owens all-around game with Prime Bernard King's scoring skills. That is actually a heck of a player.

still standing by the Clyde Drexler/Dr. J comps for Andrew Wiggins.

If we are still doing 80's comps then Julius Randle as the new Moses Malone. What about Aaron Gordon as a guy close to Larry Nance?

i haven't really seen enough Noah Vonleh for a comparison.

Lol he's Andre Drummond with less strength, better post moves, less defense, better free throw shooter, worse offensive rebounder. Haha. It is kinda silly. This thread was doomed from the start though.
