European BasketballerParticipantThis is another update on Greek player Lefteris Bochoridis. He was declared for 2014 NBA draft but left the draft because suppsoedly teams were "not interested".
I have been talking about him here for a long time and saying he SHOULD be drafted. And I said he should be drafted last year. And as I said, if Micic can be drafted, there is no logical reason why Bochoridis cannot be drafted, since he is actually the same age, and plays the same position, and he is better than Micic.
Anyway, then at next draft he SHOULD be drafted. And again, there is no logical reason other than the same bias against Greek players if he is is not.
Here is the new update for Bochoridis:
He is a 6-5 200 point guard that can also play as a shooting guard, as he can play on the ball, or off the ball. He has a 6-9 wingspan. If he was American, he would be like entering into his junior year of NCAA basketball.
He has just signed a 5 year contract with the big Greek Euroleague club Panathinaikos, after they paid a buyout to his old club Aris to secure his rights. The contract should have of course a small buyout for NBA.
Here he is in YouTube:
At this summer’s Under-20 European Championship:

GrandmamaParticipantHa….
In 22 mpg this past season he averaged 7.1 ppg, 2.7 rpg, 1.5 apg, 0.4 spg, 37% fg, 28 % 3pt…….what an amazing prospect. Sounds like a future superstar.

European BasketballerParticipantThat is better than what Rubio did. It’s about the same numbers or better that Jennings had, and on and on with other such NBA starting point guards that were in Europe, etc. What exactly is your point?
Or do you simply troll every single time you make a post?

morestealsthanscoresParticipantDude, I like the passion for your guys, but let’s look at the facts. At the U20s, he averaged 13/4/4, fair enough. However, when the athleticism (and quality of play) ramped up in the knockout stages…he couldn’t cope. The last 3 games, in the knockouts, he averaged 8ppg and 4 turnovers per.
In addition, if you’re allowed to hype your guys, let me remind you that Greece got turned over by my GB U20s, when Luke Nelson of UNC Irvine did this:

So if Bochoridis is getting drafted…luke nelson is going first round!!! 🙂 🙂 🙂

European BasketballerParticipantStop trolling.
Half of Greece’s team was injured by that time. The players were all tired. And the video I posted was from those games you are talking about, so yes you are trolling.
Saying he "could not cope" with the athleticism and level of those games, when I just posted the video clip FROM THOSE GAMES.

GreekParticipantand certainly he is not a PG!! he is at best combo guard with his shaggy handles. He can be a really nice Euroleague player, but NOT an NBA player.

European BasketballerParticipantYou are the same guy that when I posted about Georgios Tsalmpouris here would be going soon to NCAA I team you said that he could never ever make even the roster of a NCAA II team.
About a month later he was announced NCAA I team Iowa State and they have said he is one of the best prospects the school has had in many years.
When I argued with you and said here that you were wrong about Tsalmpouris you accused me of lying, making things up, trolling, and told all the people here I was lying, making things up. etc. Even went as far as to say you had personal contacts and info and everything and people personally watching him play in person and scouting him and everything and he was a horrible scrub and would not even make it ever to the first level Greek league.
I argued and said this was wrong and you were just trolling about this and no, you said I was trolling and making it all up.
Still, no apology from you, no admission that you lied, that you were wrong, etc.
EVERY TIME I MENTION a Greek player here, you INSTANTLY appear and you IMMEDIATELY start trolling. Always with nonsense you start to bash the players with things that are nit even true and going on with all this NBA only fans talking points and BS.
And saying things that only someone who isn’t Greek would ever say and ONLY an NBA only fan and that is American would ever say. Which is why you have the user name "Greek" – just to troll every time I mention a Greek player.
Just to come in EVERY time and and just say any negative, untrue thing you can think of.
The WHOLE TIME I was posting about Giannis Antetokounmpo you were trolling him, saying how bad he was. This, that, or some other thing. It hever ended. You never had one single positive thing to say about him. Never.
All you ever did was say how bad he was and how terrible he was and how he was this "raw" and "undeveloped" and "could not shoot", "could not dribble", blah blah blah.
Still waiting for the apologies on that too.
STOP TROLLING.
I already said Bochoridis can play BOTH guard position. He can play on the ball, or off the ball. Got it TROLL?
So he is a PG or a SG.
As for his position, he is not a combo guard, he is a POINT GUARD, because he played thw WHOLE SEASON at Aris at POINT GUARD.
Before that he played the whole 2013 Under 20 European championship at POINT GUARD. He played this summer the whole 2014 European under 20 championship at POINT GUARD.
So yes, he is a point guard, since he has been playing point guard basically non stop as his position in junior Greek national team and in Aris for at least over a year now.
So stop lying and stop trolling.

European BasketballerParticipant"not a NBA material" or "NBA material"
the ONLY "basketball "fans" in the world that are stupid enough to say things like this are "fans" of a club called Panathinaikos. And even in Greece they are a laughing stock and a joke.
In the rest of Europe they are considered like a plague.
There is no such thing as "NBA material" or "not NBA material".
Iyou had ever seen an NBA game in your entire life you would know that. If you had ever looked at the rosters of NBA.com and looked at the list of point guards in the NBA you would know that.
If you had an IQ over 65 you would know that.
The genius "Greek TV basketball fans" that think a point guard is the guy that hands the ball off and the shooting guard is the guy thathoots the ball……..
I have news for you, yor fake impersonations of a Greek from a typical brain dead Greek fan from a basketball forum is too lame.
lol at "not NBA material"
But yet every year multiple players from Europe that spent years playing in Europe without even being able to make a Euroleague roster, with being just mediocre players in Eurocup….with just being AVERAGE players at best in mid or small national leagues go to the NBA at become rotation players. EVEY YEAR multiple players.
"not NBA material" – in other words not Eurocup material, because that’s what being a NBA rotation player is these days.
Giannis was an average role player, 4th to 5th best player on his team in Greek 2nd division, and immediately became the franchise player in the NBA. So please take your "not NBA material" and stick it where it belongs – right up your idiotic you know what.

Tell me the last medriocre athlete as a G who doesnt have amazing handles or is amazing shooter and made the league! Even Jasikevicius was mediocre there.
And you know, NBA scouters have been to Amazonios river to find Capolco but they can’t see the splendor of Bochoridis.
Stop posting man. You are just ridicule our nation.
