I hate how with Lebron’s situation people say well kobe stayed but he already had 3 rings. Also Kobe demanded a trade he wasnt a free agent and if there was a super free agent class back when Kobe’s old contract ended he might have tried the same thing as Lebron. Remember Kobe demanded a trade and he made it pretty public to. We all love Kobe now because he has the rings and once Lebron wins them we’ll love him again to.

maybe. Kobe made his demands after 3 years of the team not making good moves and he said it right after the LA Times released an annonymous inside source saying that kobe got exactly what he wanted when he had the team broken up. KObe blew up and was done with the team although i truly think he was just putting pressure on the team to make moves more so then actually asking for a trade. He also said he was wrong and said he wanted to remain a laker before they traded for pau which is something often overlooked.

I think Lebron over Kobe a while back was media backed and did not hold weight but now that the media is mad at Lebron, they have to make up excuses to why they changed their mind and are back on Kobe’s nuts.

I think Lebron has to do a lot more to be better than Kobe and that has nothing to do with rings. He may not get as many as Kobe but he has a better chance now.

People will forget about Lebron’s “Decision” just like they forgot about Kobe’s “Incident”. Both are great players and while Lebron still has to win rings, ultimately people will look past this and once again start talking about his on-court activities.

kobe has really matured though since 07… i agree with llperez, i think kobe was puttin pressure on the laker front office to give him some help

Kobe’s a rapist, so I think Lebron is the better man.

Kobe wanted to be the man – Kobe had three rings bug he’s too stubborn and too competitive to have allowed his legacy to be as shaq’s sidekick … he couldn’t stand the criticism that he couldn’t win a ring without shaq … those are the intangibles that make kobe, kobe … and the lack of which make lebron, lebron!

The diff is kobe never asked to be traded to a team with an top 3 player and he would never go to a team that was already had a superstar like lebron

That means Kobe has a huge ego. Magic got help, Bird got help, and Jordan gothelp. Everybody needed someone else and Kobe thought he could do it by himself.

they all could get players to come play with them or they had a gm that drafted talent kobe knew he needed help he just didnt want anybody on his star level to play with him because he was worried about his legacy he knew he could win with the right pieces he didnt need 2 other superstars. Magic, Jordan, and Bird all had players that were drafted by their teams thats not their fault

Rumor has it..that Lebron wasnt too pleased that owner dan gilbert stopped the trade to bring in Amare..Lebron told him he would walk after the season..Lebron was told by Gilbert that he was the boss of the Cavs..And Lebron was an employee…Lebron felt he was being disrespected..And had this bitter taste in his mouth all during the playoffs…..
