LeBron more of a Pippen than a Jordan?

Did the Heat try to resemble the 1990's Bulls teams that had Jordan, Pippen, and Rodman? They have their own big three now with Wade, James, and Bosh. Anyway the Heat is Dwayne Wade's team and always will be as long as he is there. I think that LeBron's stats will go down slightlydue to the fact that there is not enough balls to go around. So I think LeBron is more of a Pippen to Wade more then being the Jordan. I think LeBron will average 18-23 PPG, 7-8 RPG, and 6-7 APG this year which is really close to what Pippen averaged on the Bulls. LeBron is a small forward too so I think that LeBron is Wade's Pippen and they got Bosh to be like a Rodman except scoring more than rebounding which is the opposite of Rodman. So I think that they tried to resemble the great 1990's Bulls teams:

Bulls - Heat

Jordan - Wade
Pippen - James
Rodman - Bosh

i can pretty much gaurantee

i can pretty much gaurantee you the miami heat were not thinking "lets try and be like the bulls". They were thinking lets get the 3 best possible players available, which they did.

I honestly believe LeBron is

I honestly believe LeBron is a pippen like player who dominates like a Jordan.

But in Miami, I think LeBron is Magic more then anything.

Why would Lebron's assist

Why would Lebron's assist totals go down now that he's playing with Bosh and Wade?

He averaged 8.6 assists per game last year on a Cleveland team which had no other scorers comparable to Wade and CB4. While he himself averaged just over 20 shots per game. His assists should go up if anything.

I expect around 22 PPG, 7.5 RPG and close to 10 APG this year. Not Pippin numbers. More like Magic Johnson numbers, which I actually think is a better comparison for Lebron than MJ.

With Pat Riley as the GM, is it possible they try and play Lebron as their full time PG, much like Magic Johnson?

Its Dwight Howard pretty much

Its Dwight Howard pretty much summed it up, Lebron has the out of the world athleticism of Dr J but the court vision of Magic which makes him a top 2 player in our game today, his scoring numbers will go down but his assists numbers will without a doubt increase and maybe even his rebounding slightly, if he can flirt with a triple double average for the yearor come relatively close, do not think he will not grab another MVP award.

I can't see the Wade and Bosh

I can't see the Wade and Bosh comparisons, Wade isn't the clear best player and best winner like Jordan was. Bosh is never going to average sixteen rebounds, even without Bron and Wade, also, Bosh is a wayy better offensive player then Rodman could ever dream of.

I would agree that LeBron is a Pippen esque player, an all round forward and somewhat of a point-forward but, as much i loved Scottie, LeBron is more of a athletic and 260lb Magic Johnson IMO.

To answer your question, no they weren't trying to build the next Bulls team, Wade isn't Jordan, Bosh isn't Rodman and LeBron is Pippen-like but that's as far as it goes.

Rodman is an all effort all

Rodman is an all effort all hustle defensive oriented player who was one of the toughest players in the league and best rebounder in NBA history, Chris Bosh is a weak player who is face up jump shooter with bad defense and a decent rebounder.

Wadeis not like Jordan like all not only is he not even close to as good in any regard Jordan had one of the best jumpers ever and Wade gets most of hism points by slashing

Princess James isnt anything as good of a defnder as Pippen nuff said but is a better player

magic???

Lebron is a scorer first, not a passer,he would have issues playing full time point because his game wont allow him to. He needs to score to be effective, and then when he is doubled orpenetrates he passes. The pg is the hardest position to play and for anyone who hasnt played it in their life to all of a sudden do it full time is very unlikely.

But to answer the question no,they don't want to be the bulls, they would like to be a super team of sorts. Pipen was a great defender, plus athlete, somewhat dependable shooter, and a very under rated playmaker. Lebron is a good defender, at times erratic shooter, and a good playmaker, the difference between the 2,Pipen was good at everything, not great but good,Lebron as of now is great at somethings and average at others.

You watched him play? He was a top 10 passer last season.

The Lebron bashing is pathetic.

Just so you now. He changed teams, and teamed up with 2 other greats, now get over it. I didn't agree with his choice either but that's just the way it is. I completely agree with the Magic comparison, he will fill his team's needs and do most of the ballhandling. Just like Pippen, Lebron is a true teamplayer, a guy you can go to war with.

If any team is built in a

If any team is built in a similar way to the late 90's Bulls dynasty it is the Lakers, obviously there are differences the Bulls never had the low post scoring that LA has, but I don't think Pat Riley is trying to mimic the old Bulls teams, he's had plenty of success of his own, he wanted to bring in the best players and play his style of basketball, not try to copy Phil Jackson style teams that are built to run the triangle.
