Damn I hope he signs with New

Damn I hope he signs with New Jersey. It would definitely be the right move if it was purely a basketball decision. They have more to offer than the Knicks do on the basketball court, especially in about another year.

the reason why i dont think

the reason why i dont think Lebron will sign in New Jersey is bc its gona b another 3-4 yrs untill hes in Brooklyn and then he will have 1 or 2 yrs there? i mean why would he wana go to New Jersey of all places if u can come to NY and make over 240 million $ in endorements (i got that number from the amount he would make if he came to NY, the the lebron meeting with the knicks, they showed him the amount of $ he could make if he came to NY) however the nets do have a great core but we saw a team that has no passion to win, why would Lebron wana go there? i just dont see him in NJ for those two reasons...

Will to win???

Wow and the Knicks showed so much of a greater "will" and "passion"?

17 more wins than the Nets 12 and loosing seasons for how many years straight? Nate Robinson was your Passion and you traded him for Eddie house... David Lee was your passion and you just gave Amare his slot, Al Harrington was your most competant scorer and no one is even talking about him. As he sits by his Free Agent Phone..lol.

Passion plays defense and D'Antoni coached teams don't play defense. Avery Johnson has participated in more Finals than D'Antoni (one as a player and one as a head coach to NONE for D'Antoni) Where was the passion all those years Jason Kidd ran you into the ground with not much help?

I'm tired of people saying how long it will take to build an arena in Brooklyn. I happen to live close to Citifield and it took them less than 2 years to build that and tear down Shea stadium...lol. Now its going to take 4 years to build an arena in Brooklyn? Give me a break. Money is the bottomline in building and they have tons of it between a new BILLIONARE owner and the Barclay's Banking franchise that happens to own the naming rights. Just for Kicks let's throw in the Yankees Entertainment Network who just happens to own the broadcasting rights to the Nets. The Yanks stand to make a TRUCKLOAD if he signs in New Jersey(And in case you haven't noticed the hat he almost always wears.. its a YANKEE hat. Yankees are Bron's favorite team..lol) If ANY of the remaining franchises in the Lebron sweepstakes would know about MONEY it would definitely be the NETS.

The Nets have cap Space, a good core of young pieces(Brook Lopez so Bosh Doesn't have to play center, Devin Harris an All Star playing off Vince Carter and also played in the Finals, Courtney Lee who also made it to a finals as well, throw in T.Williams, D Favors and D James SOLID NBA Prospects at worst if not future all stars themselves), 2 former coaches of the year running the show, 10 draft picks over the next 3 years. So that's moves Bron can make to add pieces for a few years.

A guy who plays in Brooklyn can still be KING of New York. The Giants and Jets don't have problems with endorsement deals and fans and they play in Jersey. The prudential center(the Rock) is rated as one of the top sporting venues in the country. And in 2 years the Barclay center will be even better. The Garden will just be 2 years older. How can someplace be the "Mecca" and they have only 2 banners that are both 40 years old? LOL.

Lebron, Bosh, Lopez would be the BEST frontline in basketball from day one. LeBron, Boozer/D Lee, Lopez would also be Top 5.

Lebron has made a TRUCKLOAD of money in Cleveland a city that has NOTHING else. I don't think the extra 25 minute commute from Newark to midtown or the 15 minute commute from Downtown Brooklyn to Midtown would be much of a difference in his money earning potential. Peyton Manning, Albert Pujos, Sidney Crosby all make tons in endorsement Deals and they Play in Indiana, St.Louis and Pittsburgh..lol.

Just be happy to have STAT! Stop declaring that the Knicks are such an obvious choice. They are a reach at best.

Cleveland

Truthfully I think we all know inside were he'll sign. Why would he leave his home, family, and all those loyal fans? He got it good he had a chance last year at the ring but he didn't play as good as he should of in the play offs. We all know Cleveland is were hell stay.

i wrote this in another topic

i wrote this in another topic but no one responded so im wodneriign what you guys think:
The Knicks clearly need another guy to be successful in the East, although Lebron is the knicks number 1 option and as a knicks fan i hope they get him but is it the end of the world if they dont get him? imagine this.... The warriors dont need monta ellis so the knicks go out and trade for him, why not trade wilson chandler for him? (if you can think of somethign better u tell me) then we sign mike miller, and brendan haywood...
The knicks startign 5 would be
Ellis
Miller
Gallo
Amare
Haywood
I know thats not a championship team but it is a solid plan B and good start to a future
or you can resign david lee instead of haywood and the lineup would be
Ellis
Miller
Gallo
Lee
Amare

Any ideas?

I think otherwise

To me, going back to Cleveland is the worst choice out of all the teams he's considering...The Cavs cap suck (how will they upgrade their team with no cap room), their team is aging (right now they may have no center cause Shaq may leave and Z just may retire or go elsewhere, even if Z comes back he's old, he's not gonna be much of a presence), Jamison is already 33, and not getting younger, he can't play any post d, he struggles against taller and bigger power forwards, and LeBron still lacks a consistent sidekick in the playoffs (once again Mo Williams did not show up in the playoffs)...Why would he go back to that? At least the with the Knicks, he plays with a young core of Amare, Chandler, Gallo, and T. Douglas...Let's say David Lee does leave, if the Knicks resigns Al Harrington, he would be good again at the six man role or playing up front with Amare...Let's say the Wizards are in desperate need to unload Arenas's big contract, if the Knicks trade Eddy Curry, for him, there's another big name player added to the mix, that can help turn the team around...Do you see how much potential the Knicks have? the Cavs have no potential, their like the Suns, their days of competing for a chip are over...The Cavs with LeBron, are just a team that excels in the season, they can't get it done in the playoffs

Which Line up is the most interesting?

I think its down to the knicks, nets, and cavs. He would never outshine mj in chi. So starting 2010 line ups for the 3 contenders would look like this.

NYK
Douglas
Chandler
LeBron
Gallinari
STAT

NJ
Harris
Williams
LeBron
Boozer
Lopez

CLE
Williams
Parker
Lebon
Bosh
Varajeo

NJ looks like the best long term team to me!

NJ has no will to win and its

NJ has no will to win and its also about the $ to Lebron and the amount of $ he can make in NY is not even close to any other place, and just so u know, Lebron was ablw to take the cavs to the finals alone, you give him STAT and Galo he can go and win it all

hey man, i was wondering, how

hey man, i was wondering, how could u say Monta isnt a perfect fit? hes the one man fastbreak PG that Dantoni DEMANDS from his PG, his PG has to run the entire game and make plays, he can score with the best of them in this league and isnt well known bc he plays for Golden State, if im not mistaken he was top 10 in scoring this yr(i could be veryvery wrong) he makes plays and attacks the rim and is top 5 quickest PGs in the league, hes perfect in Dantonis system, anyone agree?

theres on problem with ur

theres on problem with ur lineup also man, THERE IS NO WAY GALO CAN PLAY THE 2 hes in 6 foot 10 and is a bad on ball defender, he gets beat everytime, Lebron wont wana gaurd the 2 every game, the knicks r going to need a 2 man which is why i think Mike miller would be perfect, and u can play Galo at the 4, remeber guys he is 6 foot 10

The thing is with Monta

The thing is with Monta unless the Warriors except Curry, and Chandler (dont see it) they wouldnt have the cap room for lebron. He would be a nice backup plan though.

ok the revenger, what about

ok the revenger, what about sign and trading david lee, throw in curry too to save soem cap room and if you have to, add a second round pick, i believe the Warriors would do it bc they want Stephen Curry to be the PG of that offense...what do u think?

dream Knick scenario

S&T Lee for Monta Ellis
sign Mike Miller
next year sign Carmelo, JR, Tyson and Landry draft Kemba Walker re-sign Chandler for D

Rotation
Bigs- Stoudemire, Chandler, Landry
Wings- Anthony, Gallinari, Smith, Chandler, Miller
Points- Ellis, Walker, Douglas

They have offense, defense, 3pt shooting, inside-outside presence and depth

Lebron isn't choosing NJ that

Lebron isn't choosing NJ that makes no sense all their players are young but he wants to win now.
Resigning is the worst move the Cavs are capped out, Bosh doesn't want to play in Cleveland.
Despite the Raptors being dumb enough to offer him in a sign n trade for what lil the Cavs had.
Miami the only way he goes there is it Bosh goes and Wade would have to sign in Chicago or NY that seems unlikely. The 3 guys won't sign in Miami thats not a real possibility unless Beasley is traded for almost nothing back.
Bulls they def. have talent a lil overrated with guys like Noah and Gibson but their young.
Rose is a great player but he's a slasher like Lebron and they don't have the shooters or a post presence inside. Where is Deng playing if Lebron comes. I figure Wade fits better in Chicago.
Either way in NY or Chicago Lebron will be playing a lot of mins at SG it seems.

Lebron not sure what he's doing but if he stays in Cleveland theres a strong possibility he doesn't win a ring for a long time.

If he choosese the Knicks they can move some players around, Curry for Okafor.
Or Chandler/Curry for Tony Parker. Darren Colison, Luke Ridnour some PG's still available.
Both Lebron and Wade can run the time but you do need a pure PG.
Here are some of the potential lineups

PG Collison/Douglas
SG Wade/Rautins
SF Gallo/Walker/Fields
PF Stat/Barron
C Okafor/Jerome Jordan

PG Collison/Douglas
SG Lebron/Rautins

PF Stat/Barron
C Okafor/Barron/Jerome Jordan

Curious to know what Plan C is if Wade and Lebron don't sign.
Is it Raymond Felton and a SG they have a lot of options with cap room.
Question isn't Al Harrington gone becaz they would have to renounce him to release the cap hold to offer 2 max contracts.

So when did the Knicks get a

So when did the Knicks get a dearth of cagey savory Veterans??? LOL. Gallo is in Year 3 Year 2 if you factor in all the time he misses for various injuries that makes him look old but he's not. T. Douglas year 2. Chandler year 3. And these youngsters won as much as the Nets did.

Devin Harris is an All Star with PLAYOFF Experience. And could go toe to toe with Derrick Rose in my opinion. C Lee also has PLAYOFF experience. Brook Lopez is a top 5 Center in the league right now in year 3. And not one of those fake D'Antoni Centers either. I think Bron would like a Center he can look up to and not one he sees eye to eye with. One who also plays Defense. We also have DRAFT PICKS.. Lots of them. The Knicks really don't have much to offer in that regaurd.

People keep thinking Teams are lining up to send thier star players to the Knicks for Eddy Curry when he hasn't Played in 2 years. Most Teams would rather draft Picks in WEAK Free Agent seasons. We can send Devin and Draft picks and get CP3 or Tony Parker.

The Nets have promising young Bigs (Lopez Favors). The Knicks have a 6-10 guy who shot the most 3's in the league not much of a post presence. The Knicks are LOADED .... with Small forwards the exact position Lebron prefers...lol. Gallo, Chandler and Walker are all seen as small forwards.

Best case scenerio for me is Lebron and D Lee to the Nets. D-Lees Max wont eat up much. And he prefers to stay in the "area" but feels disrespected by Knicks ownership. (translation he wants to play for the Nets) We can get him for 5 for 70...lol And have money left over to add. Shooters Miller, Reddick, Anthony Morrow, Kyle Korver or Al Harrington.

PG- Harris/Uzoh/FA
SG- C.Lee/T Will/FA
SF- L.James/D.James
PF- Bosh or DLee/ Favors
C-Lopez/Zoubeck/FA

Free Agent Shopping List
Pg- Farmar/Felton/Dooling/Ridnour
Sg- Allen/Reddick/Morrow
SF-Miller/Harrington/Korver
PF- Haslem/Bonner/Scalabrine
C- Shaq/Boone/Brezec/Joel Anthony

Didn't you watch any finals games in the last 10 years???
DEFENSE= CHAMPIONSHIPS
Avery Johnson is a Defense FIRST coach. D'Antoni is a Defense NOT SO MUCH coach.

I completely agree with

I completely agree with BDNETS. I think Nets and Bulls are a definite front runner for Lebron. Knicks not so much, because Lebron to win a championship more than be a billionaire. Besides he can be a billionaire in New Jersey too with that rich new owner they have. I think in the end Lebron will choose New Jersey, and David Lee will also choose New Jersey, while Booz will be left to play for Chicago.
