Lebron to the Knicks, Melo to the Bulls

My prediction: Lebron James will sign with the New York Knicks this summer, while Melo will sign with the Chicago Bulls.

Am I crazy? Where do you think they will end up when the summer is over?

I don't think Lebron is going

I don't think Lebron is going anywhere. It just doesn't make that much sense to start a rebuild somewhere else. I think he should NOT opt out of his contract and be a part of the 2015 free agent class. Then, there would be some logic to him leaving Miami since he could basically "team up" like a Marvel comic book again if he wanted to. Carmelo SHOULD go to the Bulls. I know that Houston is a team that is rumored, if he were to leave, but that just doesn't make as much sense to me. They don't have a problem scoring, which is his elite skill. They don't play defense. Chicago is severely lacking in one major area and it just so happens to be the one thing he does at an elite level. No matter how Phil Jackson spins the 2014-2015 season in New York, it's not going to be a championship season. The following year is a possibility, but that leaves too many unknowns if Carmelo is serious about a "ring being the most important thing to me at this stage in my career". He would be signing on for at the very least another lost season outside the playoffs looking in and then hoping that 1st time front office runner Phil Jackson is as good at putting together a team as he is coaching a team. That would be a lot of risk that wouldn't be as high in Chicago, but he would be leaving money on the table and possibly creating New Yorkers who hate him (which seems to matter to the guy).
