i saw someone post Lebron can’t leave Cleveland and I couldn’t disagree more. He’s done what he went their to do win Cleveland a championship. If he decides too leave and I have no clue if he’s going too but I could see it happening. Lebron could have stayed in Miami with his best friend wade hang out on the beach but he went back. He did it too win the city a ring and they got it. He went their for the city and no other reason.

The case he stays first of all he def gets a statue outfront. Might get one either way but if he stays he’s going to get it. Theirs a chance that nets pick gets them Porter JR and he might want to be a mentor. I know a lot of people are high on the nets on this site and think they will be decent why I have no idea but that’s a topic for another day. He would walk to the eastern conference finals every year. When Lebron wants too he can recruit so getting talent isn’t an issue even though it’s Cleveland. They also have the 1 pick to flip for a star if they don’t draft.

The case he leaves. Their is a chance he wants to be in LA he is executive producer on a lot of tv shows now and he might be looking towards like after hoops. The cavs got a great haul for the cavs but not Lebron. The trade was great for the cavs not so much Lebron. The nets pick and Zizic don’t really help him now but they are great building blocks. Crowder is solid but he’s a role player for cavs he won’t start over Lebron or love. If IT requires surgery he could miss a significant amount of time. Add all that too Griffin getting fired he might just want to get as far away from Cleveland as possible.

He’s getting a statue either way! He could leave next year and there’s a still a chance they rename "Akron " "lebron"

I have absolutely no idea why everyone is saying he is going to the lakers? Why on earth would be leave his throne on the Eastern Conference to kill himself and compete against the West

He arugbly has more of a future now in Cleveland with the Kyrie trade. They have a lot of options to try and keep IT and they have a top 5 pick (pls the nets will not be that much better this year) in a very exciting draft. They pumped up their bench – you’re right Crowder is a role player and that is exactly what they need.

Cavs all of a sudden have a lot of options and just dont think LBJ is that stupid to kill himself in the Western Conference

There’s only one way I could see him going to a Western team, and that’s if he has some info that they plan to abolish the conferences

I honestly believe lebron really wants to play the rest of his career in Cleveland. He genuinely loves the city and the fans. However, there is one huge obstacle getting in the way of that happening and that obstacle is Dan Gilbert. It is not a secret that lebron absolutely despises the guy and hates the idea of playing for him.

But Gilbert likely isn’t going anywhere, so it will likely come down to whether or not lebron decides playing in Cleveland is worth tolerating Gilbert. If he leaves, it will most likely be because of him and if he stays, it will most likely be in spite of him.

he’s clearly acknowledging that he cannot beat the Warriors, and he’s probably right because he’s a smart player.

I’ve said it before, it sets up a lot of good NBA drama.  He now plays the Warriors 4 times instead of 2, and the Celtics vs Lakers storyline is back, Celtics Lakers but also Kyrie Lebron!  Are they going to handshake before the game?!  Of course they will its the new NBA, and Lebron doesn’t hold grudges everyone has to do whats best for their "brand".  You won’t see a "how does my @$$ taste" rap from Lebron, mostly because Lebron also understands he will never beat the Warriors.

Buttt, I think he should come to Philly.  He’s older and he gets to be the athletic veteran that runs with the pups who can all play.

You’d have Fultz, Lebron, Simmons, Saric, and Embiid closing out games.  Now this team, has enough firepower and length to battle the Warriors.

I don’t think it’ll happen, Lebron to the Lakers makes the most business sense.  But I know for a fact he loves playing in Philly, he has an extra step in his game, I think it might be because he remembers the Iverson cup the ear days and how amazing the crowd was then.

If Lebron really cares about having fun his last few years in the NBA, he’d come to Philly.

If he wants money, wants to be a throwback to magic, be among the stars, produce entertainment and hone his acting career, he’ll go to LA.

What would you do?  I’m a gamer, so I’d go to Philly.  I’ve made enough money and I’ll continue to make money after I retire, so I’d spend the last 3 or so years of my career doing what I love, and I’d go be the veteran with the young guns and the Philly crowd and bask in basketball glory, and give the Warriors a run.

lebron will never play for philly. Lol come on be realistic. Lebron and a bunch of young kids? He demanded Wiggins get traded for love. He doesn’t want to play with young talent. Lebron needs jump shooters around him. if Lebron wants to beat the warriors he needs to team up with proven talent. Not a team who has 2 players with playoff experience.

The arguement for LA is legit. His kids go to school in LA. His wife wants to live their year round. The signs are sorta of written on the wall. He didn’t do any recruiting this year. He’s an executive producer on two of TV biggest shows the wall and Ballers. He could be in more movies and commercials. I also think Lebron is done taking pay cuts. He wants to own an NBA team someday and the rockets just sold for 2.2 billion. He’s gonna need every extra mil he can get.

about Wiggins and people had touted wiggins to be the "next" Lebron…but you kidding me?  Wiggins had a decent jumper and a spin move into the lane and thats it.  He had zero lateral movement.  People were excited by his kangaroo hops but as far as basketball skill, he’s long and lanky and can shoot it decently, but other than that there is little excitement to his game.

We’ll see what the Lakers can put out but Ball and Ingram and who they bring in as free agents.

You have to see this from a basksetball perspective and thats why I asked what would you do if you were Lebron James?

I’d say I have 3 years left, I have a year to observe the Sixers, let me see how I can help them.  He’s in a great position  because he can see how things play out this upcoming year.

But if all thigns are equal and let’s say the Lakers bring in a buddy like Paul George to play with Ball and Ingram…

Or you got Embiid and Simmons and Lebron, and Saric who is playing great ball, and Fultz and Reddick…

its time to wake up man I respect what the Celtics are doing.  But if they’re healthy, the Sixers have a built a rock solid squad and the Celtics have no answer for Joel Embiid and Simmons is too big and fast for Brown, Tatum, and Heyward.

You could argue Lebron has never played with teammates like Simmons and Embiid.

The whole league is aware of what Philly has coming, including Lebron and Durant, get your last laughs in homie.

This ain’t Jakarr Sampson and Hollis Thompson anymore.

he did recruit this season. He talke to Rose before he signed and he talked to Green. The Cavs had no cap space not sure who you thinkhe was going to recruit.  I cant se him goign to play with the Ball Circus. He has already had to tell lavar to stay out of his familys business you think he will want to play that year round.

I honestly don’t even know where to start I’m still laughing so hard at your statement. I guess we can start with the the cetics because it’s what I know most about. Who on philly is going to cover Kyrie? Fultz your 19 year old star who couldn’t make the tourney? Whose Defense is already questionable at best. Jj reddick lol maybe 10 years ago. the cetics have 3 all stars Tatum and Brown and the lakers pick. 3 all stars and 3 top 5 picks or 3 top 5 picks with no playoff experience? Vegas a place where they build multi billion dollar buildings off of dreamers like you has them at 36 wins.

Lets talk about Lebron has anyone ever heard him rave about young talent. Has he ever said can’t wait to play in Cleveland? He’s either going to LA or he’s going to stay in Cleveland he’s not jumping ship to play the sixers. A place where they have a rocky statue a fictional character instead of Joe Frazier.

Now lets talk about the reality in philly. Is Joel Embiid a beast yes. he’s also the biggest walking injury in the NBA. He’s played 31 games in 3 years but now magically he’s going to stay healthy. Can you tell me the last time a team of rookies won the title? You need Proven NBA veterans to win titles and the sixers for their first guy this year with JJ. Simmons and Fultz have never played a full NBA schedule you can even say Embiid hasn’t. they have talent and things are going in the right direction but philly is years away from competing in the eastern conference finals. they are going to max Embiid next year. You can’t win a title with your max player hurt so every year it will depend on his health.

Your going to regret the Kyrie trade. He is a diva who is not a PG he is a SG he maximised his potential playing beside Lebron and it will be funny watching him  get called out for his zero assists night which Lebron  regularly did and Kyrie did not like. Kyrie is a great SG I think he is a little brittle and where he broke that kneecap in 2015 finals will flare up more often you heard him complain about it a few times last season already. The Celtics got an very good player in Hayword but he is not a star jsut very good and Horford anothe good player but not star you saw how Love ate him alive in the post season. I cant even say the Celtics are a better team today than they were last year. Will Kyrie be able to duplicate what Thomas  did. Does getting Hayward but losing Bradley an upgrade but by how much? Crowder was a great wing defender and you lost Avery who was great on defense where do you account for those losses. I know smart is a good defender but he is a liability on offense. I would put Washington over Celtics as far as a playoff series goes.

I’ll take Gordon over Crowder any day of the week. He’s a huge upgrade on offense and a legit all star. Losing Bradley hurt but we got back Morris for him who should excel in brads system. Kyrie is an upgrade over IT not huge but he’s better offensively and less of a liability defensively. Kyrie will have better numbers then last now that he’s the alpha. Gordon will also excel going from the slowest to fastest pace in the NBA. Crowder is a guy who needs minutes to excel he’s a hustle guy and he won’t get as much PT as he did in Boston being behind love and Lebron. Kyrie and Gordon  are locks for eastern conference all stars. Al does all the little things and he was a beast all playoffs long. He’s a perfect 3rd option great screener, doesn’t complain and maybe the best passing big man in the league.

The cetics are much better then they were last year. Kyrie Smart Gordon Al Baynes vs IT AB Crowder Al And Amir is an upgrade. Brown Rozier and Smart all improved this summer. The bench went from Kelly O and Jonas too Morris And Tatum both upgrades.

The wiz have no bench at all. They have a great starting 5 but nothing after that.

who is going to guard Kyrie?  In two years, I’m pretty sure they’ll have someone to do that.

Kyrie is a selfish player that loved to score while Lebron was there to raise everyone’s game and enforce defense.  Kyrie didn’t get that team to the Finals, Lebron did.

I used to hate Kyrie’s game before Lebron got there, because its not team basketball, so I’m kind of upset that he demanded a trade and got in a great situation.  He’s an amazing individual offensive player, but his teammates may get frustrated with him because there isn’t a Lebron James to keep the boat afloat.

Yes, thats right, I said a great situation.  Boston things are going well.

I watched Embiid literally swallow up Al Horford.  There is no one on Boston that will stay with Ben Simmons.  Fultz sucks on D, but so does Kyrie.  If healthy you will look out for Philly and Milwaukee.

I didn’t even compare Philly to Boston I just don’t think its laughable to think that Lebron might come here.

The Sixers are a playoff team and championship contender with Lebron.  I’d love to see Lebron play the Karl Malone type PF on the Sixers.  Fultz yes, but Simmons and Embiid do not play like immature players.  You need to watch more basketball, because Kevin Durant isn’t saying he looks forward to playing against Ben Simmons because he is some 18 year old undeveloped kid like Dragain Bender or Marquess Chriss.

Early on its measured expectations because they are playing with a brand new roster of young players and are figuring it out.  Barkley said he’d be shocked if Philly dind’t make the playoffs, and he’s seen Simmons and Embiid in person practiicng.

If Durant and Barkley and James (who trains Simmons and said the Sixers are the future) see something in the Sixers, I don’t understand why you’re laughing at the notion of him running with Philly over running in LA.  Its very possible that Embiid and Simmons are the best two players James can play with after next year based on potential.

If Embiid is healthy, we will battle for the East in two years and fill out our roster.

lol you went from talking about contending with the talent you have now to flipping switch two years down the line. You honesty think Lebron is going to wait two years for a team to be a contender. Your dillusional and a dreamer. You think Durant and Barkley know more then Vegas who has them at a whopping 36 wins? lol Barkley legit owed millions to the RIO and has stated he has a terrible gambling problem publicly but he’s who your taking your predictions off.

Lebron  going to LA has nothing to do with basketball and everything to do with life after hoops. Not everything is basketball related he has multi rings and won a ring for Cleveland. He took pay cuts when he was younger but not anymore. His kids go to school in LA his wife said she wants to live in LA year round not philly.

you also have to look at your precious teams salary cap. You do realize the Embiid gets a max this summer in 2 years Simmons will need a max and Fultz final year on a rookie deal is 15 mil. Your locking up 65 mil in 2 years for 3 players you already have. Not to mention Unless Saric takes a huge pay cut he’s gone. You simply can’t afford to pay all those guys

.lastly you and all 76ers fans need to look at the twolves. Towns and Wiggins concencus number 1 picks on the same team. Neither has played a playoff game. They took Dunn flipped it for a proven talent now they are in the mix. The 76ers 2 years from now they will be a low seed in the playoffs for the first time since Fultz was in elementary school.

I said after next season will Lebron decide to come to the Sixers.

I also clearly stated its possible he goes to LA for all of the obvious reasons.

Lebron has a year to weigh out the best situation.  I think you are fighting the idea of him coming here because you might be scared by the possibility of 3 freaks on the same squad…in Lebron Simmons and Embiid.

Yes they are younger but they don’t play younger.  I don’t care what the Vegas odds say, they are banking on this being a young team that needs to figure things out.

The Sixers play harder than everyone and in a weak East they’re definitely a playoff team.

Don’t compare Towns to Embiid.  Towns is very good but gets by on lack of size due to effort.  Towns beat Embiid the first time they played but Embiid handled him second game.  Like its not even a fair competition.  I like how you ignored the fact taht Embiid swallowed up Horford, but thats okay, he does that to most new-era "bigs" in the NBA.  Oh yeah. Towns and Embiid on Defense is like night and day.

Wiggins and Simmons are also not comparable are you serious? You think Wiggins who is an athletic jumpshooter has a comparable game or projection?

Simmons is a larger faster Lonzo Ball only he can’t shoot as well as Ball but he is definitely more powerful than Ball.  Wiggins isn’t even a comparison to those two.

Wiggins and Towns coudln’t smell playoffs.  You’re a stone cold idiot if you compare Embiid and Simmons potential to the timberwolves.

I’m done with this convo, I don’t care about the salary cap because if you can get James for 3 years, you pay the man.

Good luck we’ll see what happens in 3 weeks when Simmons debuts in the league.  You already know what Embiid can do.

I’m not dreaming or wishing for Lebron trust me, I don’t have the red carpet ready.  I’m not some homer.  I took a step back and I told you what I’d do if I was Lebron, I’d say I have 3 years left and I’ve made enough money and I can pursue Hollywood things in the offseason.   I want to play basketball with a great crowd and great talent wherever that is.  If I was him, and after a year Embiid is healthy and the rest show their potential, then I’d give them a serious shot.

The sixers play harder then everyone. Come on man they’ve been in the bottom of the league for 5 years now. They admitted to tanking and your trying to claim they play hard.  because opposing  teams are out partying the night before their games unlike when they play the warriors and are up all night studying tape.

Embiid is a beast who hasn’t been healthy in 3 years. How can you honesty count on a guy whose played 31 games in 3 years.

Lebron Embiid and Simmons which one of them has a killer jumper again? Tons of floor spacing for that squad.

You compare Simmons to ball except ball made the NBA tourney and they play totally different positions. Simmons is such a beast how come he didn’t make te tourney? Lebron MJ Kobe the guys you compare him too would have carried their team to atleast a sweet 16.

Everything you’ve said is hopes and dreams Simmons is in his second year how many NBA minutes has he played . Embiid is 3rd how about him. Potential is great but that’s all it is until you produce consistently. That means staying healthy and playing atleast 60 games a year.

OK, let’s imagine it. Green and Thompson for LeBron. Would you make that offer if you’re Golden St. (and LeBron has let you know he’d like to finish his career there)? Would you accept it if you’re Cleveland?
