Lebron James

Am I the only one that can't wait for Lebron James to retire so that everyone else can have a fair shot? I hated Lebron for so long because of the "Decision" but now that he's settled into his place and is consistently getting his, game in and game out... How good can he be with Miami? All they have to do is flip a switch and they become the best team in the league without question. With his size, strength, and work ethic to strengthen his "weakest link", how much longer do you guys think he has of just pure domination over competitors?

Now you know how lots of

Now you know how lots of people felt about Jordan during the 90's and Bill Russell in the 60's

I was thinking that is how I

I was thinking that is how I felt about Shaq because I was tired of scrub centers getting paid and watching Shaq toss them around. Didn't really seem like basketball to me.

No, not exactly that but what

No, not exactly that but what I would like is for the NBA to become a league of many good teams that get a chance at a championship. Throw out all these bad refs and Stern and start fresh. I don't watch the NBA much any more because it is obvious that every game played is all about money and not always the actual outcome that it should be. Everyone knows that the draft lottery is fixed no denying that even the darn commentators back that up. I as a fan of basketball would like to see the lottery myself knowing that it was done the right way.

I know I kind of went off topic that that is just my opinion.

They showed the draft lottery

They showed the draft lottery balls being chosen this year, how can you call that fixed?

Even if they win a second

Even if they win a second straight championship I just can't see them winning a third one unless they get a few good signings in the off season.

As much of a beast Lebron is, I think age and injuries will take its toll on Wade and Bosh. I just can't see them being lucky enough to win 3 straight....

Flip the switch well the

Flip the switch well the Pacers playing terrible helped too.

I don't see the Heat winning a title every year w/out real changes.
Problem for them is Wade is getting older, losing trade value and they probably wouldn't move him anyway.

Not sure where they get the bigs or bench help to win year after year.
Most teams don't win w/out solid or top bigs, last year Bosh was much better in the playoffs.
Guys like Allen, Battier, Miller, Lewis are all getting old.

Can't rely on Cole, Anthony, James Jones and possibly Birdman to get it done.

If Lebron leaves who knows how the chemistry with another team goes.
I don't see him going back to Cleveland he burned bridges there and them having such a dominant scoring PG in Kyrie doesn't help.

Couple things. Don't try to

Couple things.

Don't try to play the "Pacers played terrible" card, even tho they did, just give credit where it is due.

Lebrons teams won't have chemeistry problems because his unselfishness as a superstar will almost fix any chemistry problems unless his teammates are rumored to have slept with his mom. Plus he isnt gonna go somewhere where chemistry will be a problem if he does leave

And finally pairing Lebron with a scoring guard is what you want to do because his passing abiliyy

Is everyone seriously negging

Is everyone seriously negging every person that suggests the Heat won't win three straight championships?
Yesterday many thought the Heat were done and had to blow it up.

Ah the Pacers did play

Ah the Pacers did play terrible in Game 7, no team is that great on defense to force 15 turnovers in a half.
They lack a guard that gets to the rim, Paul George who is a nice player and future star but he was awful in this game.
Obviously a lot of that had to do with Lebron's defense but still his turnovers all series long were a problem.

Hibbert, West didn't react to double teams quick enough and Miami took advantage of that.

Lebron and Wade didn't click the 1st year and they were close friends and I'm sure they played together in the summer a lot.

Yeah he moves the ball and obviously is a great passer but a lot of players excel 1 on 1 and need the ball in their hands.

As of now the teams with cap room for 2014 are the Lakers, 76ers, Magic, Clippers, Warriors, Spurs, Mavs, Cavs, Pistons, Wizards, Bucks, Jazz, Hawks, Suns, Bobcats, Kings, Twolves, Pelicans, Pacers obviously that will change after this offseason.

People say he won't go to a small city and a small market so that rules out the Cavs, Bucks, Jazz, Bobcats, Kings, Twolves, Warriors, Spurs, Pelicans, Pacers, Suns, Magic.

Also I don't see him going to a team w/out another star he doesn't want what happened in Cleveland.

Maybe the Pacers didn't play

Maybe the Pacers didn't play great, but give some credit to Miami. They weren't going to lose that game 7 and thoroughly outplayed Indiana. When Miami plays as aggressively on defense as they did in that game, they can create a lot of trouble for their opponent. And while a better pg would help the Pacers, that wouldn't solve their problems when their bigs got trapped on the elbows.

Also you want to pair Lebron

Also you want to pair Lebron with a big man who can actually score in the post.

Surround him with shooters and a big man who can finish that would be ideal.

This is LeBron's "turn"

This is LeBron's "turn" get used to it, if they don't three-peat or win any more rings they will come close as that is the nature of the Heat roster.

Your right the Warriors

Your right the Warriors aren't a small market team.

I was going by the city they play in Oakland not that area which is so close to SF and San Jose.
