I can’t believe how much teams are willing to play players because of their role or contract over their play. IT and JR have been horrible, how bad do they have to play to get benched.

Tonight we saw, James Harden, one of the best scorers in the history of basketball, defer to CP3 because that just how bad Isaiah is on defense.

IT didn’t play fr a lng time some rust should be expected. But they def should play him less until he earned time. 15 min or 20 would be plenty

That hip injury really screwed up Thomas explosiveness. Part of me wants me to believe he will never be the same and the Cavs got a dealt shitty hand but deep down inside I feel like he will be coming off the bench for Boston in 2018-2019 after making a magical full recovery. These Celtics are loyal.

Cleveland better not trade that pick just to make Lebron happy in the short term. I would take Lebron aside and ask him where he wants to be traded and try to work out a deal to get him out of there. Watching these last few games really shows how immature because he clearly has thrown in the towel unless Clev trades that nets pick. If he wants to play hardball and won’t accept a trade, I’d say do everything you can to get rid of his buddies at the trade deadline.  He’ll end up leaving in the summer and you’ll have a decent 1st round pick to start the rebuild.

You cant trade a Lebron James when he hasnt demanded one thats just a slap in your fans faces. Cleveland’s gotta trade that pick. The pick is probably going to end up being in the 8-12 range. Aside from maybe getting lucky and having Collin Sexton available I dont see anyone being a guy I would ruin not only my championship aspirations for but also my fanbases trust. The Clippers have alot of pieces that they seem willing to let go of with Harris, Galinari, Williams and Bradley. If they could somehow net two of those guys well letting off a bad contract like JR Smith’s its a good deal for the future with or without Lebron.

I don’t get that, who cares about the future. Trade Trade Trade until that roster is overturned for some more talent. You have Lebron! you have a chance to beat GS I don’t care what anyone says. They just need a piece or two that can defend like monsters. IT can come off the freakin bench untill he proves otherwise. And I love IT but he looks awful right now. Just outta sink.

I’d put everyone on the block, the Nets Pick, Love, Crowder

Regardless of huip injury or not, I just don’t know how much IT and Lebron would be together when IT is already a below average defender on a team struggling to play defense as well as IT needs the ball a lot and it ends up NOT going to Lebron as often. Just look at Lebron’s stats since IT joined the team compared to before.

THere were talks last year at this time of IT getting 20+ M a year in FA. Then he goes from a system and a genius basketball mind like Stevens to a lost puppet coach like Ty Lue and he’s exposed for what he is. The injury doesn’t help but even at 100% he was always a giant liability on D.

This team is old (30 yrs old on average, oldest in league) and slow and small and a HORRIBLE defensive team, absolutely no lock down guards to stop penetration and absolutely no rim protection. Add in a 5’6” who gives no effort on D (much like their entire team including their superstar) and it’s gotten worse.

Everyone looks like they’ve checked out. They have no tradable assets other than the BKN pick and anything they’d get in return for a likely 7-10 pick won’t be enough to save them. Think it’s going to be 2010 all over again with CLE in the running for top 3 picks the next few years.
